a rainy day - 10th

[ Today is supposed to be nice and sunny, and it is on most places throughout the island. Everywhere except the area immediately above Lucia, apparently. Wherever she walks, rain clouds follow up above, and there's a light drizzle that sprinkles down towards her. She doesn't have an umbrella. She just seems to be zoned out, walking to her destination: The library.

She's also trying to look at who's in the area, so as to not get them caught up in the drizzling. She'll make an attempt to swerve out of the way of anyone who's passing by, which looks rather odd. Hm. ]

a teenager - 11th

[ There's a girl, somewhere between 15 and 16 years old, with long red hair roaming around. There are two people who currently fit this description, but the glasses give her away – this is not Diluc, this is Lucia. She's currently sitting under a tree in the shade, somewhere near town, pressing buttons on her phone. There's a disgruntled look on her face. Seems like she can't get something to work.

She ends up looking pretty huffy before she shoves her phone back into her pocket. Then, she rises to her feet and starts speed walking towards the shops. Where is she going...? ]

farming - throughout the month

[ Anyone who's passing by the Lucia-Gentaro forest farm may catch her outside at any given point during the day. She's getting to work on her farm, and there appears to be a small assortment of mushrooms growing! How nice. There's also a small patch of flowers that are also in the process of growing. Seems like things are going decently.

There's also a little calico cat that's roaming around outside, circling around Lucia at times. The cat will let out a little "meow" if she spots a visitor, and trot up to the newcomer. This will alert Lucia, and she'll turn to whoever's at her farm and stand up rather quickly. ]

[ He smiles, the look in his eyes full of affection. ]

I'd like to think we care about each other enough already that we'll be fine with whatever happens.

It'll be a pipe dream as long as you consider it one, Lucia. If you do enough squares here, you can get your own business license and have no trouble expanding your shop.

[ Just gotta make sure she knows she's capable!! ]

[ She reaches out for his hands and gives them both a gentle squeeze. She doesn't intertwine their fingers; she just wants him to know she means what he says. ]

You're a wonderful friend, Gaku. I wouldn't give that up for anything.

[ He squeezes them back, his smile growing softer. ]

Neither would I. It's pretty rare that I get friends that I know I can count on, so I don't regret coming here to meet you.

Heh...well, I won't go easy on you, then!

[ She will add 25 cards to his hand. But she'll also go ahead and accentuate this with a little kiss to his cheek. ]

[ How about him losing all the games because he’s so distracted after that little smooch? ]

[ After they grab a deck, Noé nonchalantly plays a card to change colors and picks a color he doesn’t even have. What a strat. Time to draw a card. ]

[ Okay, he picked green and she has almost entirely green cards, which will work either in her favor or against her. She plays a card and draws another one.

She is incredibly focused and quiet. She's absolutely taking this too seriously. ]

[ Honestly, maybe if Noé was focused on cards rather than on Lucia then he would stand a chance, alas. There's something different about her, something that makes it difficult to look away even when it's his turn. ]

Ah, I'll draw another one.

[ He doesn't even pay attention to the card. He could have put it on top of the pile, but he finds himself peeking at Lucia again. Three cards later, he finally realizes that he can play a card and laughs softly. ]

It's hard to focus.

[ He's acting a little strange, and she can't help but look at him curiously, just before he says it's hard to focus. He's looking right at her. Hm...

She puts down her cards and moves in towards him, so she can place her hand on top of his. ]

What's got you distracted?

[ Noé corrects her with no shame. Well, her hand on his leaves him blushing too, but he can still speak at least. ]

I haven't seen you so serious before.

Oh... Heh, I'm sorry. I just...wanted to win, with what we discussed.

[ She wants that hug. ]

It’s alright. [ Noé offers her a reassuring smile and pulls her into an embrace shortly after. ] You looked really charming. I mean—

[ She always does, so that’s not accurate!! ]

You are charming in general, just…!

[ He’s digging his own grave. ]

[ CUTE... She returns the embrace, warmly, gladly. ]

Heh... You're so sweet. Don't worry, I understand what you mean. You're charming, yourself.

[ Ugh! Why is Gaku so encouraging and convincing!! ]

I think I might have enough for one. I should... I should look into it, then. I think people like my food enough that I might be able to do okay here. I'll let you know if I need help, then, if that's okay.

[ She lets go of his hands, but one of her hands moves up to lightly poke his shoulder. ]

Heh...you're going to make me all emotional again. I'm really glad to have met you, too. You've truly done so much for me, Gaku...thank you.

[ She's too kind for her own good, really. Noé tightens the hug and smiles to himself. ]

I'll make sure to win another round.

[ Maybe he wants that sweet reward...!! ]

[ Hmm. She considers this, and pulls back to look at him softly. ]

It's okay. You don't have to win for me to do that.

Have I really? It doesn't feel like it, but I'll take it anyway.

[ His laugh is soft, an affectionate smile on his face. ]

Of course. I've worked at a restaurant, so it won't be hard for me to get started if you need help.

[ He's got all the cooking and food safety training he needs under his belt! ]

[ She means that, too, with how firmly she says it. ]

I actually miss working in a restaurant, so I'm kind of excited now.

[ It even shows on his face... but Gaku has always been the type to show exactly what he's feeling. ]

[ That actually has him taken aback for a moment, but all he can do is smile once the realization sets in. ]
