dec mid-month event.
mid-month event
With Crescentview’s newest citizens settling nicely, the Goddess has summoned everyone back to Town Square for another round of announcements. This time, her summons comes to you in the form of a hand-written note. If you happen to be out working in your field, one of her fairies will hand it directly to you, looking a little more sprightly than they did the first time you saw them. Otherwise, expect to find her request/demand to meet up in Town Square in your mailbox.
introducing: the memo board
The Memo Board is now available in Town Square. You may post messages here to your fellow neighbors, send out requests for assistance on the farm, or even solicit local singles for hot dates! Post whatever you like whenever you like. You can even post messages to the board anonymously if you so desire. The Memo Board is available here.
But wait, there’s more! The Goddess has given everyone a fun relationship-building exercise. How well do you know your neighbors? Can you identify them based on their writing alone?
By December 22nd - 12:00pm EST, please have your character submit an anonymous message to be posted to the Memo Board. Their message can be about anything they’d like and there is no length requirement or restrictions. After submissions have been received, characters will be given an opportunity to review everyone’s messages and guess which character wrote which memo. Answers will be revealed on December 29th - 12:00pm EST. A single correct guess will earn you a horse while each additional correct guess will net you a vegetable, flower, or mushroom spore seed bag of your choice. Good luck and have fun!
it's time to dance!
Every Spring 15th, the annual Flower Dance is held in Town Square. Villagers gather to dance with one another and celebrate the upcoming harvest and offer their prayers to the Goddess. Folks are encouraged to dance not just with those they fancy, but their fellow neighbors as a way to express gratitude and appreciation for the friendship and company they provide.
ICly, the dance takes place on Spring 15th and goes from 9am to 9pm.
task board
In addition to the tasks currently available on the Task Board, a handful of new additions have been added. You may continue to work on tasks from the previous event in addition to these new tasks, but please note that tasks may only be completed within the month they are assigned. Summer starts next month, so please have all of your tasks completed and submitted by then!
The new additions are as follows:
1. Post a notice on the Memo Board. Stick up an anonymous memo and earn a single chicken or rabbit to add to your coop. You may post as many notices as you like, but you will only redeem the reward once.
2. Correctly guess who posted a memo. Discuss these anonymous notes with one another and guess who may be the author. Between December 22nd and December 29th, submit your IC votes (link coming on the 22nd) and if you guess correctly, even just once, you will get a horse! You may guess as many times as you like, but you may only redeem this reward once.
3. Partake in the Flower Dance. Pick a partner for a round of dancing, pray to the Goddess, or just celebrate the good times! For every person that you celebrate the event with, you will receive a random bag of seeds of fruits, vegetables, flowers, or mushroom spores. This task can be completed 5 times.
4. Send a letter to your neighbor. This requires you to have acquired the stationary set from the first event, so if you haven't claimed it yet, get to it! You can post letters directly on the main community or set up an inbox in your journal to send and receive hand-written letters. For each letter that you send, you will get a random gacha item. This task can be completed 3 times.
5. Harvest your crops. On the 14th, you'd be surprised to find that all of your crops are now ready for picking - even if you've only planted them the day before. The crops look bright, flavourful, and ready to be picked, so eat them, trade them, sell them, whatever! For every interaction that you have involving the bountiful harvest, you will receive a new set of clothes. This task can be completed 3 times.

Sounds like excellent time efficiency, to me.
[ not as efficient as both of them checking off the same square together, but still pretty good. he's already trotting off toward the tree - try to keep up!! tighnari's mouth pulls into a sharp smirk. ]
You're certainly welcome to try your best.

[ Clambering up the tree and onto one of the lowermost branches, Tartaglia proceeds to roost there, the epitome of sketchy vibes and sketchier motivations. But, he'll try his best? Despite his atrocious behavior, he doesn't have much experience in the way of romantic overtures. Here's hoping Cyno isn't going to come over and kill him for this confession later. ]
I should probably tell you the real reason why I singled you out. [ Oh? ] I had a feeling you could hold your own. To be honest, I did want your attention. It's not every day you meet someone with so much confidence to spare. Sincerity, as well. It's refreshing! I don't often encounter it in my travels.
[ People can be so insincere with him. ]
That, and... you're not bad on the eyes at all. While I imagine you hear that often, I do mean it wholeheartedly. [ Tighnari just looks so fluffy to the touch? But it's the look in his eyes, so sharp and keen, that entrances him. ] If you were willing, I'd take you out for a date.
[ It's true? An outing would be oodles of fun. ]
Assuming I'm not out of your league, of course.

his brows lift. ]
You weren't wrong. You're good at this, aren't you?
[ tighnari might blush, if he weren't suspicious that tartaglia was simply laying it on thick in order to satisfy the bingo card. he does, however, smile, his tall ears pinning back a little bit; he's never been very good at receiving compliments..
resting his elbow against his knee and his chin in his palm, tighnari smiles. ]
But a date, so soon? You're very forward. Where would you take me?
no subject
[ Shying away would be cowardice, and he's long since put things like fear behind him. Leaning up against the trunk of the trees, Tartaglia does a slow once-over of Tighnari, trying to piece together his initial assessment with what he knows now. ]
... Out on a hike, to start off with. You'd have to point out all the dangerous cliffs and poisonous mushrooms to me. And then I'd take you out on one of the boats, and point out what I know.
[ Namely, the fish, and the sea, and tranquility that could on forever. ]
And then we'd end it with a meal? If our date went on long enough, we could even look out at the stars.
no subject
A fair point, and I can certainly appreciate boldness. But I'm not easy to win over.
[ even if he's smiling easily enough. tighnari isn't necessarily.. unused to such attentions, plenty of people have had weird crushes on him in the past for all the wrong reasons, but this is all for play, for silly bingo, so tighnari isn't taking it too seriously. he does, however, arch a brow quite high. ]
You're perceptive, aren't you? Or a mind-reader.
[ he chuckles. ]
I would enjoy all of those things. The hiking and stargazing, especially. But are they things you would enjoy?
no subject
[ Gotta always work towards self-improvement. When it comes down it, Tartaglia just can't sit still for very long. He's already shrugging, haphazardly dragged out. ]
I wouldn't suggest anything I couldn't derive any enjoyment from. ... I get the feeling I wouldn't be your type, though.
[ A bit too kind-hearted to overlook the evil he's done, if it comes down to it. It's just the impression he gets. ]
no subject
[ he's a five-star, so he's gotta be decently strong and durable, right?? ]
But why's that? Got some dark, hidden secret?
[ even if childe's assumption isn't entirely off the mark. tighnari is strict and sharp quite often, but the heart that beats behind his ribs is tender and gentle indeed, and he certainly doesn't approve of the fatui overall, and their machinations across teyvat. though tighnari tries not to involve himself with them, he still has his Opinions.
not that he has any idea that this man is fatui..... :') ]
no subject
Just a feeling I get. Far be it from me to lead you astray.
[ Saying all of these ominous, semi-villainous lines is the height of normalcy, as is hopping off the tree once he's certain that requirement has been sufficiently cleared. Tighnari's company is enjoyable, but brood too long on this subject and he'll end up saying something he can't take back, and the real misfortune will begin.
From down below, Tartaglia waves, smiley as ever. ]
I'll be seeing you, alright? Don't be a stranger! Let's chat each other up again soon.
[ Come by his place on the pamphlet's map or just find him strolling around, he'll welcome the company. Cutting his losses, Tartaglia takes his leave. ]
