[ One of these fine summer mornings, Ori wakes at the first peek of light over the horizon and quietly slips out of bed. As quietly as she can manage, she makes sure there's breakfast for M-21 waiting in the kitchen - something simple, for today - as they've agreed upon before she sets out to go on a little morning wandering through the woods.
It's still strange, having a house, having a place to call somewhat her own... As long as she doesn't think too hard on the circumstances, it's almost... wonderful. Idyllic. Perhaps something she's always wanted, outside of her life of adventuring, but could never bring herself to pursue.
Blessedly, the forest provides a bountiful distraction. Though she comes upon a clearing at some point, and— ]

[ —she swears she just felt something, almost as if she'd been struck by... some kind of arrow. But there's no arrow, no injury, no nothing. Just a feeling. And perhaps, someone there. ]
