A long time ago something happened to the planet and everything went to shit. You couldn't breathe the air, the temperature started rising, and all the water started disappearing. When the Creators built our home, the Maiden gave them the power to create water so we could survive.
So if I'm here, they'll need someone to stand in for me while I'm gone. So it'd make sense!
