[ as far as he's aware, it wouldn't have been entirely unexpected if she didn't believe him. or, if she had been less receptive to the concept as a whole. instead, she seems to simply accept it as a possibility. which, does make him vaguely wonder if she had some sort of reference point to have anchored her thoughts to— or perhaps, she had simply been that broad-minded and accepting. regardless of which one it was, he responds in tune. ]

I wouldn't say it's that uncommon. [ but his tone is light-hearted, as if to indicate he didn't necessarily believe that. still, even if she was a singer, it didn't mean that's all she was. not that he distrusts her words, but that, he never knocked the potential of someone's abilities before fully getting an understanding of them. maybe it's just a habit that's been ingrained in his overall survivability, or came from his own inquisitive nature...

But, just from their names, they sound pretty fun. [ maybe like a challenge? the prospect is kind of exciting. he supposes there must be all sorts of monsters out there he has yet to fight. maybe they could even be heroes? not that he says this out loud. ]
