[ All things considered, events concerning the auction could have progressed in a much more unfavorable manner. Especially since he's learning that he had taken things a bit too easy, but the fortunate part is that no one dared to snap up Judith's application, so in a way, he certainly does manage to get what he wants.

That being said, when they met up to have food over dinner, there's a certain kind of odd...feeling of some sort that hangs around heavier in his chest. Sure, he had always noticed that the woman's pretty attractive, but then he had a difficult time taking his eyes off of her. Not to mention, felt off-balanced, like he is a teenager again. Good thing the food and change didn't necessarily mean he stupidly loosened his tongue (though he may have laid it on a bit more thick instead of a brief one and only since then.)

Anyway, that's not important. What is important, however, is that currently they're approaching the spa / massage studio with the intention of relaxation in mind. Whatever intrusive thoughts and feelings will surely begone. In fact, he will even stretch out a bit as they walk into the area. ]

Man, nothing like getting ready to get pampered like a couple of noble folk after some good food, huh?

[ Judith is not too unfamiliar with the sensation of different feelings overlaying and mingling with her own. It's the feeling of being plunged into a warm deep bath, and a strange sensation lingers around her chest. Like a little lurch, every time she looks Yuri's way. She's always liked Yuri, in her special way. But right now...She smiles and takes the slightest step closer to Yuri]

It does feel nice to be on the other side of things for once. Being pampered does make a girl feel special.

[Yuri was always such a good source of fun. But this feels a bit more sharp, defined with something she couldn't quite decide what they meant]

[ Well, to say that Yuri anticipated still being able to go on a date with Flynn would be an absolute lie. He thought Mishka's sneaky maneuver prevented him from doing that at all.

Instead, he finds himself having the opportunity to spend time in Flynn's company. To say that it's something unremarkable would be a lie. Of course, Yuri ensured that he's teasing the blond here or there as they did whatever suited them.

But now, as they find themselves coming upon their room, a pleasant evening has fallen upon the two of them and everyone else on the ship. The peaceful serenity is also perhaps a herald of what may come next. Ideally, a good night's sleep. But, that's going to be more or less delayed, even as Yuri plops himself casually onto the bed. ]

Well, well, look at where we are now. A single room with just a single bed. Leaves little to the imagination, doesn't it?

[ And huh, are those snacks too? Kind of convenient to have nearby, now that he thinks about it... ]

You have to wonder why they bothered, when it ends at midnight.

[ Like all good fairytales. But it's been a nice day, and Flynn can't think of the last time they've had so little to worry about. Maybe it was silly to bid on Yuri after all, when he'd been planning on letting Yuri have some spontaneous fun. He liked new places, new people, didn't he? But Flynn doesn't regret getting to see the beautiful sights of the ocean with his best friend by his side.

Yuri makes it to the bed first because Flynn, ever the good boy, pauses to take off his boots as neatly as possible. But as soon as he's shed them he flops himself down facefirst on the other side of the enormous bed, a tiny laugh escaping him. Yuri's the only one he really doesn't mind acting like a kid in front of. And when are they going to see a bed like this again? ]

[ Yuri doesn't even seem to mind at all, with Judith coming so close. He's not the type of person who seems shy, but the truth of the matter is that when things get a little personal in a certain way more than he's anticipated, even he would eventually find himself embarrassed. Though usually he's good at evading that.

Unfortunately, his attempts to ignore the strange feeling hanging over them is practically futile. ]

Special, huh? Well, that makes sense.

[ Well, Judith feels pretty special right now. The thought should bother him right now, but really, he knows he's always liked her decently enough anyways. It feels somehow natural. Enough that even as she steps closer, and as they go further into the room, he finds himself drifting closer.

Though, the people who are attending to the massage help corral them onto their separate table(s?) for massage and such after the minor preparation for the session? So for now they seem to keep from embarrassing themselves too badly in front of eyes. ]

You know, times like these, I don't feel it's a bad thing we got spirited away to a place like this together.

I can think of a few reasons why.

[ Two people alone, in one bed, after a wonderful night together.

...It makes the heart stir, or something like that. Anyway, he is actually enjoying this trip more than he thought he might. Especially because he's been allowed the opportunity to spend time relaxing, and still being able to choose to do so with Flynn right beside him.

His eyes temporarily lift from the extra stuff in the room, content to bask in the moment a little more. Such as Flynn acting so young in front of him. At that, he can't help but look fond at that. ]

But, you looked like you enjoyed yourself. Including right now.

[ He'll kick his boots off. The opposite of neat so he can prop his feet up on the covers without dirtying them. ]

[ Flynn muffles another laugh into the soft pillow. He can think of plenty of reason why too — he's overworked, not completely out of touch — but it's still a little funny to him. He rolls over onto his side to glance over at Yuri, just in time to watch him kicking his boots off like the agent of chaos he is.

Well. At least Yuri is being conscientious about getting them on the bed. ]

I did. We've never really had a chance to do anything like this before, have we?

[ Of course there was Yumanju. But that was different, the whole group of them together. A whole day with just him and Yuri like this is a rarity. ]

[ Judith has always been a touch shameless. But even she pauses at the thought of an audience. She cocks her head to the side, her gaze falling on Yuri askance as she turns away to slip out of her black dress, undressing carelessly at the masseuse's prompting. If Yuri wants to get an eyeful, she wont say anything, not in this mood she's in]

Mmm, a little lucky for once, do you think?

[ She lays herself on the bench, humming in pleasure as warm oil gets dripped down her bare back. She feels warm and hazy in a way that had nothing to do with the wine from earlier]

[ Yuri Lowell, agent of absolute chaos and mayhem.

Those shoes have destroyed some villages by their flight. Anyway, silly jokes aside, he may have kicked off his boots, but once he ends up showering, Flynn might need to remind him to towel his hair properly. He'll probably do it relatively quickly and get some of the pillows a bit wet.

Life is hard with long hair. ]

Now that you've pointed it out...yeah, we haven't. Not just by ourselves, anyway.

[ Though maybe he isn't so surprised given the other beside him was an overachiever/hard-worker...but still. ]

But, you know what would make this even better?

[ Shameless? Maybe that makes two of them for now.

Though Yuri's eyes do drift her way very briefly, as he's about to say something, only for that sort of timing to be excellent. So he hums a little to himself, eyes sliding back away because despite it all he has a sense of modesty within himself. Not in a way that would be indicative towards a sort of rigid standard that a certain someone would hold, but out of common courtesy.

Still, is he any less appreciative for catching a glimpse? With the both of them being like this, Yuri can't quite find it within himself to be not so much. ]

...I'm going to hope that keeps up. So far so good, with none of our faces on any posters on the island. But, at this point I might start to wonder if someone slipped a lucky charm with my belongings.

[ Yuri blinks as the same happens on his end, and he keeps still. A difficult feat with even how relaxed he is. ]

[ Flynn will just chase after him with the towel, it's fine. He's got the domestic (combat) arts down. ]

A duel out on the deck under the stars?

[ Flynn says it with a joking grin, but if either of them had their swords, the prospect would be a little tempting. It would probably disturb the other guests, though. Not that he would expect that to stop Yuri.

Still, it sounded like Yuri had an idea of his own. Unexpected as it is, Flynn is a little pleased at the thought. He doubts Yuri is taking this seriously — he doubts Yuri takes much seriously, aside from crises — but it's nice. ]

What were you thinking?

I like to think my luck, will keep my face off any posters for a little longer.

[Judith sighs, exhaling softly as the masseuse's hands work over her shoulders. She had a lot of tension in her body apparently. It made sense. She doesn't normally like to get this close to people and it's been so long since she's visited Yumanju]

Yours...mm. Maybe it'll do you good to attach that lucky charm to yourself permanently.

[ SOMEBODY'S gotta have it down, right...even if it involves towel nonsense. He'll purposefully run around for a little bit.

What else does he exist for but to make things difficult? As for the rhetorical question, he just might snort. ]

Wow, it's like you read my mind.

[ Words totally uttered 100% full ounce of sincerity. Though, not quite in this instance, judging by the way his tone is honestly not serious here. But, you know what, it would be awfully a fun way to spend the time. As for the other guests...eh, they'll live. ]

[ Heads up Flynn, there's a pillow flying your way.

What? Yuri's got the best ideas that are totally in line with the moment, and are not childish whatsoever. Sorry not sorry he's like this. ]

Wha— Yuri!

[ Yes, it's that exasperated 'Yuri' inflection. Only undermined a little by being muffled by the pillow, which of course hits him square in the face. This is the life of a tank.

Like Flynn's going to take that lying down. There's a wealth of fluffy pillows around here for him to arm himself. He scoops one up and takes a swing for Yuri, already struggling not to laugh. ]

I'm not explaining to the staff how you managed to trash the suite if this gets out of hand.

Well, at this point my kind of luck spreads to other people.

It kind of has a mind of its own.

[ You know, he can stand to do this more often. Though he isn't exactly the kind of person to jump for joy at getting massages. Just see what he said when they first visited Yumanju about hopping in and out of baths...

As chill as he is, he can probably stand to get moreso. ]

And hey, you never know, maybe there's one attached to my foot. Or one right nearby me even as we speak.

[ Ah yes, Yuri recalls that inflection well. How could he not? Annnnd he's laughing at Flynn's reaction over here. There is NO way he'd be able to resist doing that.

But he probably should be expecting Flynn to take up arms and deploy himself into battle with his newly acquired weapon. Alas, he has been too caught up in his amusement that he's been made vulnerable to taking a pillow to the face with an over-exaggerated 'oof'. ]

Sure, just go ahead and say that only to go jumping into it yourself!

[ He takes another pillow and goes for another attack himself, well-inclined towards easily letting it get out of hand because he's ~chaotic~. ]

Were you really counting on that to make me concede?

[ Yuri definitely knows him better than that. Unfortunately, Yuri does have the advantage of chaos on his side. There are limits to just how out of hand Flynn plans to let things get...

But he hasn't hit it yet. He falls back with a laugh, lobbing another pillow in Yuri's general direction before he just grabs for him. If Yuri wants to wrestle like they're teenagers again, he'll show him who's boss. ]

We'll have to check thoroughly, later.

[ Yuri could learn how to sit still for once. And what better time than now? Judith sighs happily into her arms as strong hands work over the tension along her back. She feels good. Giddy, even]

And what if I was? What then?

[ Yuri asks, questions ultimately rhetorical. After all, he certainly knows that the blond-haired male in front of him for would not easily concede to anything. That is something they share in common.

Hah, this time though, he is ready for Flynn's retaliation! The pillow launched at him is smoothly countered by the one in his hands, and—

...Okay, well, he's also not anticipating to be grabbed, being probably pulled forward, towards Flynn. He'll probably land on top unless Flynn goes to roll them over?? ]

Wow, what were you even trying to accomplish here? Declare me the victory of our little fight?

Then I'd say that's unexpectedly cute of you.

[ Flynn doesn't care in the least that the question was rhetorical, and he also doesn't believe it for a second. Although that doesn't change the fact that Yuri is unexpectedly cute like this. Softer, in some ways, than the hellion Flynn remembers from when they were younger.

(He pointedly does not recall anything about himself from that age.)

Yuri might have landed on top of him, but Flynn's pretty sure that's not an automatic victory or anything. In fact, he has Yuri right where he wants him... He reaches back and grabs another pillow to gently thwap his head with when Yuri can't possibly dodge. ]

Well? Still feeling like the victor now?

I'll be looking forward to it.

[ Learning how to sit still is his greatest challenge yet. Even the threat of the Adephagos and everything that entailed seems nothing compared to this. But, gradually even he is finally starting to relax, and not feeling like the need to get up.

Though Judith's sigh, distracts him for five seconds. Yet not enough to prevent him from saying at some point: ]

...Hey, this isn't so bad.

It's better if you can relax.

[Honestly, Yuri. Don't make Judith tie you up so you stay put. She's perfectly content to have her tense muscles worked over by skilled hands. Being pampered is definitely nice ]

Cute?

[ Unexpectedly cute?! Flynn...careful, you're liable to make him swoon into your knightly arms at this rate, kyaa.

Jokes aside, it's certainly true that Yuri's gotten more softer. He remembers the days when he was rougher and sharper around the edges. Ultimately softened by the test of time, wisdom, adventures, and the bonds he has forged while on them. Perhaps that's why he receives Flynn's term of endearment with a snort, but it sticks in his mind. ]

I'll have you know I can't be both badass and cute.

[ It's a half-hearted protest, but one nonetheless. If it is a distraction tactic, it also works rather well, given the sneak attack via pillow that makes contact with his head from behind. ]

Wha- hey! Feeling like playing dirty now?

[ He's going to swing down his own pillow that he's still holding in retaliation. Don't think he'll let you off easy, Flynn! ]

[ Everything Flynn feels is in this pillow...!

Or not, because his weapon falls from his hand when Yuri thwaps him in return. He laughs again, scrunching his face up as he completely fails to ward against that counterattack. Yuri is rude. ]

I don't think you get to make those accusations after you ambushed me.

[ Yuri can absolutely be both badass and cute. He's doing it right now, actually — well, maybe a little light on the "badass" part. With Yuri on top like this, his hair falls forward to tickle Flynn's cheek, and Flynn reaches up without thinking to tuck it back behind Yuri's ear. ]

Are you really going to be satisfied with a cheap victory? Or are you going to re-arm me?
