it tickles her nose and while most people would probably sneeze the moment it hits their sinuses and walk away from such an offensive scent, yelan finds herself trailing toward the source of the smell. the last time she's had smelled something similar was when xiangling accidentally dumped a little too many jueyun chili into her noodle dish and no one else wanted to eat it.
she waves amicably at some of the people in the restaurant, gesturing at the kitchen to ask what's cooking. it's only after she gets a headshake that she decides to take a peek inside, curious. ]
