karaoke party!
Who: Lucia and you!
What: Karaoke Party Time
When: Fall 20
Where: Cozy Kitchen
Warnings: n/a for now
[ On Fall 15th, a notice goes up on the noticeboard advertising a karaoke party at Cozy Kitchen on Fall 20th. It may be easy to miss with all of the pirate chaos, but Lucia will put a sign at the front of the restaurant to remind her fellow farmers of the event.
When Fall 20th rolls around, the smell of Lucia's food can be smelled from outside in town square. One may also catch another redhead bringing alcohol from his winery into the restaurant, or people from the other neighboring bar moving equipment into Cozy Kitchen. When everything's said and done, the restaurant is left with a nice evening setup. It's a small-ish space but there is plenty of food and alcohol for people to indulge in, as well as non-alcoholic drinks like tea and water. The karaoke machine is set up, and there are board games from the store that people can play while they're here.
People are free to sing, open mic style, as many times as they'd like. At some point during the party, however, Lucia will make it a point to play some slower songs on the machine and cite that it's been a while since the dance in Spring. Now might be a good chance to get one last dance in with someone before Winter hits! Finally, party games will be inevitable, so go ahead and participate or run your own. ]

[ She is completely unaware of Notegine's antics, so here's a friendly face. ]

[...
There's a beat, surprised he's being asked. But it passes briefly, a light chuckle in his chest.]
Right, right. Uh.
Truth.

[ HMMM. ]
Tell me about one of the best memories you've had here, so far.

[The question does give him some pause, even though it's simple enough.]
That drinking game was a good time to see everyone coming together, but...
Maybe... being able to watch the sun rise when our first harvests came up in the spring.

[ She's fond when she says it. That was a magical memory she'll never forget. ]
Your turn, then?

[Oh... oh, well, he must be playing in full swing then! He chuckles tiredly, but relents.]
Hm... truth or dare?

[ She's dragging him into the shenanigans! He looked a little lonely earlier, so she's happy to keep him company. ]
How about truth?

[ Her youth wasn't super pleasant, but she's not here to ruin the mood, so: ]
I think...there was a time in which I used to play music really loudly from my room. It was really obnoxious, but I did that whenever I was mad at my parents to annoy them specifically, because they didn't like it. It was such a silly thing to do, thinking back on it...

Heheh... well, if you didn't have many other options, then you use what you have, I guess? I'm pretty sure some kids have done way worse to get back at family they were angry at.
What sort of instrument did you play?
1/2
[ Aaaaand then Steinbeck's little ""accident"" happens. ]
Sorry! I'll be back, let me take care of that!
done
Okay, sorry about that. I think it should be okay, now... Anyway, truth or dare?

[ She sounds very adamant about this. She doesn't want anyone here to do anything but enjoy themselves. ]
no subject
[She was pretty easy on him for the first one, so...]
I'll take another Truth.

[ HMMM. She's no good at this game, but she'll try her best. It'll be a nice way to get to know Otegine more, after all. ]
Did you find someone you're interested in, here?
no subject
[hmmmm]
Sure, I guess. We've got people from a lot of strange places. Most everyone here is interesting.
