karaoke party!
Who: Lucia and you!
What: Karaoke Party Time
When: Fall 20
Where: Cozy Kitchen
Warnings: n/a for now
[ On Fall 15th, a notice goes up on the noticeboard advertising a karaoke party at Cozy Kitchen on Fall 20th. It may be easy to miss with all of the pirate chaos, but Lucia will put a sign at the front of the restaurant to remind her fellow farmers of the event.
When Fall 20th rolls around, the smell of Lucia's food can be smelled from outside in town square. One may also catch another redhead bringing alcohol from his winery into the restaurant, or people from the other neighboring bar moving equipment into Cozy Kitchen. When everything's said and done, the restaurant is left with a nice evening setup. It's a small-ish space but there is plenty of food and alcohol for people to indulge in, as well as non-alcoholic drinks like tea and water. The karaoke machine is set up, and there are board games from the store that people can play while they're here.
People are free to sing, open mic style, as many times as they'd like. At some point during the party, however, Lucia will make it a point to play some slower songs on the machine and cite that it's been a while since the dance in Spring. Now might be a good chance to get one last dance in with someone before Winter hits! Finally, party games will be inevitable, so go ahead and participate or run your own. ]

uwu a pretty icon for a pretty woman
[Judith feels like cooking, honestly]

[ She looks down at the food table. They've all done quite a number on the offerings, have they? ]
I wonder if we should duck into the kitchen to make more food? That way Lucia can keep enjoying the party, too...
no subject
[Judith is plenty agreeable with that idea. Besides, some fresh food would be nice]
no subject
[ She'll tug them over into the kitchen! Hope you don't mind, Miss Lucia...! ]
Oh, wow... It's a huge kitchen! So professional..!
no subject
[She'll get some aprons for them both]
no subject
What do you think we should make? Something quick and easy, maybe...?
no subject
I suppose something like a good bowl of stew or noodles would take too long. Maybe some tempura?
[Is there enough for that? Hmm]
no subject
The community pot incident is still fresh in Ori's mind. As such: ]
Hmm, no stew.
[ as she shakes her head. ]
I don't think I've ever made tempura before. Would you show me how to?
no subject
But right, no stew.
She smiles, perfectly amiable as she gathers up some nice vegetables]
Of course. We'll start with slicing these up thinly.
no subject
Yes, chef!
[ That's what you say in a fancy professional kitchen, right? But Ori nods, and takes up a fancy professional kitchen knife to start slicing vegetables up as instructed. Should she be slicing things thinly after a few drinks? Stay tuned... ]

I'll get the batter set up. This recipe should be simple to make in abundance.
no subject
[ Look at them, a well-oiled tempura-cooking machine. ]
If I'm remembering correctly, tempura is... Deep-fried, right?

[Best cooking duo. No fears here]
It's not exactly healthy, but it is delicious.
no subject
I understand! Sometimes the soul just needs something delicious. Besides, I think all of us here do enough to make sure our bodies are in shape!
[ All that farming... and... physical activity, ]
And even then, tonight is for having fun, ehe... Are you having a good time?
no subject
[Random naked man in the party was the cherry on top. And there, batter done and oil ready to go.]
no subject
It certainly has been... Entertaining...
[ But hey, the vegetables should be good to go now, too! Perhaps not as artfully cut as she otherwise would make them, but she did her best, a several drinks in... ]
Are these okay?
no subject
That works. Let's dip them in and get cooking then.
no subject
Alright!
[ Ori will pick up a veggie piece and sort of follow Judith's lead, and once they get to drop them in the hot oil— ]
Oh...! Haha, the coating is puffing up!
no subject
[ How cute. Time to quickly drain them as soon as they're golden enough. And like that, food has been replenished]
no subject
Thanks for teaching me, Judith...! We make a great team!
[ She holds her arms out. Bring it in for a Great Team Hug... ]
no subject
[ Ori is certainly reminding her of someone now. Team hug it is! Into her bossom, Ori]

I hope your two dates like what we cooked!
