❝ you have bewitched me, body and soul, and I love, love, love you. I never wish to be parted from you from this day on. ❞
( Welcome to the wedding ceremony of Kaveh and Alhaitham! This service is taking place on Winter 22nd - situated in the colourful fragrant flower fields. With both of the grooms being Dendro users, it's only natural that they would feel inclined to have a very poignant plant theme for their wedding. Well, most of it came from Kaveh. In fact, all of it came from Kaveh. The artistic man certainly has a flair for drama - it's no surprise that he may have been a little bit of a bridezilla. But with the love and support of Alhaitham and his friends, he managed to put together something extraordinary for the two of them. Something beautiful for Kaveh - yet minimalist for Alhaitham. Perfection.reception.
The music provided by the fairies begins to play, adding to the romantic atmosphere. Alhaitham waits for his spouse beside the fairy priest, observing Kaveh walking down the aisle. Kaveh is wearing a ceremonial outfit reminiscent of their home back in Sumeru, as is Alhaitham. They're bending away from the common tradition, with no one leading Kaveh down the aisle to send him off to his spouse. When Kaveh arrives to where Alhaitham is waiting, both men smile and hold hands. The grooms share their vows beneath the floral arch, before they swap their rings, and share a kiss. )
( Following the natural theme, their reception is being held outdoors in the forest! It reminds them both fondly of their home in Sumeru. There are books and plants spread out as part of the decorations, with each table marked with a book display. At the open mic, guests are welcome to give speeches, if they like! The meal served at their wedding consists of traditional Sumeru (middle eastern inspired) food - pitta with hummus to start, followed by falafel tabbouleh and finished with candied ajilenakh nut. Finally, it's time to cut the cake! And don't worry, the flowers are edible. Refreshments will be served with wine, champagne or something non-alcoholic for the non-drinkers.
Once the food has been consumed, it's party time! There's outdoor music and plenty of drinks to go around! Kaveh has a big affinity for wine - so he's installed a wine dispensary at the outdoor bar for people to top-up their glasses at. Just be careful not to have too much! And those who choose not to drink are perfectly valid! The guestbook is left open for pleasant messages, and Kaveh and Alhaitham both have a wedding favour to give all the guests. Make sure you visit the two of them before you leave! Thank you for attending! )

On today of all days, he doesn't mine being a little effusive, either - at least, for him. He gives his partner a soft smile as their gazes meet. ]
You look beautiful.
[ Don't let it go to your head, vain man!! ]

And here they are: dressed up in traditional garments and prepared to dedicate the rest of their lives to one another. Alhaitham always did look outstanding in black, and his ceremonial outfit looks wonderful. The architect's blonde hair bounces when he dips his head to the side, cheeks brightening with a blush. )
I'm glad you think so. ( Those words are so valuable to him. He offers his hand for Alhaitham to take. ) The same can be said for you.

(He’s already definitely let it go to his head.) ]
I know. [ Said with a slight smirk. ] So, ready to commit yourself to this forever? There's no going back now.

( Look at that smug bastard ... god, Kaveh loves him so much. There's a buzz of excitement he feels from the prospect that this perfect man is going to be all his very soon. They're mere moments away from sealing their vows and living together as husbands. The way that Kaveh's eyes sparkle is almost youthful, like he's been excited for this day his entire life. (And he has been.) )
Of course. I've waited long enough. ( And admitting it also puts how far they've come into perspective. As much as Kaveh wanted to stand here and stare into his future husband's eyes all day, a tiny 'ahem' commands their attention - and it's none other than the fairy priest. Sorry, little fella.
The fairy priest begins, and after reciting many lines about devotion and love, he turns to Alhaitham: )
Alhaitham, do you take this man to be your husband, to live together, to love him, to honour him, to comfort him, and to keep him in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?

So he is calm and collected as the fairy priest recites those lines, his gaze locked on Kaveh across from him, on the way the sunlight catches in his hair, on the way his eyes shine bright. If his heart is racing, it has nothing to do with being anxious. ]
I do.
[ He cuts short the urge to add something teasing. Not now, Alhaitham!!! And then, the fairy priest goes on:
And do you, Kaveh, take this man to be your husband, to live together, to love him, to honor him, to comfort him, and to keep him in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live? ]

She'll make it a point, however, to seek out both Kaveh and Alhaitham individually, when they've both got a moment. When she sees them, she brightens up and gives them both a little wave. ]
Hello! I know we just met at the karaoke party, but I wanted to congratulate you on your marriage. This is a really nice event you've put together, so I'm glad I could make it...!

After an undisclosed number of glasses, though, she becomes unafraid of the wedding decorations. Which means she's now sitting down at her table and disassembling that artful stack of books to just. Read. Are these like, actual books that they like, or just random ones they took for decoration... She's so curious. ]

Congratulations, you two! I hope you have many happy years ahead of you, and that you look back on this day fondly as a celebration of your love.
Kaveh - I'm sure that Alhaitham would still love you even if your head grew into the size of a melon.
Sincerely,

🕯 ( wedding favours. )
🔞 ( wedding night. )
A romantic man like Kaveh knows that the night of the wedding ought to be just as special as the ceremony itself. And in this aspect, he's left nothing to chance. Once all their guests left and the newlyweds have returned to their farm, Kaveh and Alhaitham knew that they had one hell of an evening to look forward to. After removing his ceremonial attire (and folding it carefully to preserve its beauty), the architect has a greatly invigorating shower while his husband organises the leftover articles from their wedding.
Thoughts of being in the arms of his husband tonight arouses him greatly while he bathes and prepares for sex - but like a very good boy, he resists touching himself despite every last temptation to do so. Once he is finished bathing, Kaveh dries his hair, before he then applies a subtle amount of make-up and puts on his chosen outfit for their wedding night. True to his taste in clothing, Kaveh is donned in white silken robes with golden jewellery providing glamorous accents. As a surprise for Alhaitham to discover underneath, Kaveh is wearing white laced lingerie stockings with garters. But the statement piece, of course, is the wedding band on his hand. Throughout the day, the blonde man has caught himself catching glances of it shimmering down on his finger in the light, eternally grateful that all of his decisions have lead to this moment. To him being Alhaitham's husband. May no one else have him.
Mmm, he's getting impatient. Kaveh reclines on the bed, knowing that his dearheart will be here in a moment's notice to join him. This is the first bed they made love in. The first home they shared without repressed feelings and a lack of understanding for what they may mean. Things will be very different when they go back to Sumeru, and the house will undoubtedly feel like a new world entirely. For the romantic opportunities they've had in this simple farming village, Kaveh is grateful.
At last, he hears the door creak open, and the blonde man can only smile at the sight of his husband entering the room. )
There you are ... ( He sits up in the bed, allowing both of his legs to hang over the side while he pats the empty space beside him. Kaveh is already aroused and he crosses his legs to try and hide this. He can't help it - he's very eager. ) Your husband awaits.

Alhaitham is the sort of person who has long recharged by simply being alone, but tonight that isn’t what he needs. It’s not what either of them needs. He needs to be in the arms of his husband, who is no doubt pulling out all the stops for him getting ready for their wedding night while he attends to a few more matters.
And perhaps, he’s taking his time just a bit, to build up the anticipation, now that they have the time and space to do so. To turn himself on imagining what Kaveh might be wearing, what he might say, how he’ll smell and taste. He takes his time dressing down for bed, too, though he doesn’t go to quite the lengths that Kaveh does. No, he has something else in mind to entice Kaveh if he’s willing, and Alhaitham simply sees to it that he is dressed comfortably, handsomely, and smells nice. He’s got the essentials covered.
Stepping into the room at last, he stops in the doorway for just a moment, appreciating the sight of Kaveh on the bed, dressed and adorned just as nicely as Alhaitham expected him to be, not missing the bulge at the front of his pants. Biting his lower lip, Alhaitham closes the door behind him, crossing over to where Kaveh awaits him, like they have all the time in the world.
Because they do now, don’t they? ]
I can see that. [ He teases, stopping just before Kaveh. ] Didn’t keep you waiting long, did I?
[ He says with a knowing glance towards Kaveh’s erection, before at last moving to sit on the bed next to him, one arm behind Kaveh’s back so he can lean in close. ]
