a rainy day - 10th

[ Today is supposed to be nice and sunny, and it is on most places throughout the island. Everywhere except the area immediately above Lucia, apparently. Wherever she walks, rain clouds follow up above, and there's a light drizzle that sprinkles down towards her. She doesn't have an umbrella. She just seems to be zoned out, walking to her destination: The library.

She's also trying to look at who's in the area, so as to not get them caught up in the drizzling. She'll make an attempt to swerve out of the way of anyone who's passing by, which looks rather odd. Hm. ]

a teenager - 11th

[ There's a girl, somewhere between 15 and 16 years old, with long red hair roaming around. There are two people who currently fit this description, but the glasses give her away – this is not Diluc, this is Lucia. She's currently sitting under a tree in the shade, somewhere near town, pressing buttons on her phone. There's a disgruntled look on her face. Seems like she can't get something to work.

She ends up looking pretty huffy before she shoves her phone back into her pocket. Then, she rises to her feet and starts speed walking towards the shops. Where is she going...? ]

farming - throughout the month

[ Anyone who's passing by the Lucia-Gentaro forest farm may catch her outside at any given point during the day. She's getting to work on her farm, and there appears to be a small assortment of mushrooms growing! How nice. There's also a small patch of flowers that are also in the process of growing. Seems like things are going decently.

There's also a little calico cat that's roaming around outside, circling around Lucia at times. The cat will let out a little "meow" if she spots a visitor, and trot up to the newcomer. This will alert Lucia, and she'll turn to whoever's at her farm and stand up rather quickly. ]

[Sylvando runs into Lucia on the way home from a quick general store run. He's not really familiar with that device, but...]

Is everything all right over there, darling?

[Maybe he can help?]

[ Gaku makes his way over to Lucia's farm at the agreed upon time, holding a picnic basket in one arm and a bag slung over his other shoulder, filled with various things necessary for a picnic.

He knocks on the door, right on time. ]

[ Lucia has prepared two ham and cheese sandwiches, mostly because she feels bad for not providing any food. He's prompt and on the dot, and she stands in front of the door for a few moments, trying to collect herself.

She opens the door, then closes it a little, then opens it again. She's pink when she sees Gaku. ]

Good morning.

[ She pauses in place, and she turns to look at Sylvando with an irritated expression on her face. ]

...Uh...I need a charger. Where can I find one?

[ One awkward, bratty teenager, coming right up.

[ While Gentaro's still put off by his being here, it's not all bad. The "marriage as an end goal" aspect is less than ideal, but the goddess can't keep those who don't manage it here forever. At least, he doesn't intend to allow that. Gentaro is nothing if not a man with a stubborn streak a thousand miles wide and a refusal to adhere to something he doesn't want or even asked for.

In spite of that, though, it's not all terrible. His housemate is interesting, and he'd like to get to know her. As closed off as Gentaro is with those who aren't Ramuda and Dice, he can't say he's necessarily fond of her. It doesn't mean he objects to her presence, or that he dislikes her. He doesn't know her yet, that's all.

Which is why he'd proposed knocking out that picnic square. Gentaro finishes packing their basket, and he gives her a smile. ]

Shall we be on our way?

[ As far as she's concerned, this isn't an official date, like the one she went on with Gaku, so she's far less nervous. In her head, this is just a hang out, a way to get to know her roommate. She won't object to an opportunity to get to know him, so she finishes packing the basket with her own food for them to share, and she nods. ]

Yes, I think we're ready.

[ WOW, LUCIA? ]

At least act like you're happy to see me. I almost thought I was rejected.

[ He laughs at least, stepping away from the door and motioning for her to follow. ]

[ He nods and drapes a blanket over his arm, then gestures to the basket. ]

Would you like me to carry that? I won't object either way.

[ He's not so presumptive to think she needs him to carry it, anyway. ]

Oh, no, I'm okay. Thanks for asking.

[ She'll hold onto it securely to prove a point. She'll do this much, since he's the one who asked her to clear the square. ]

I'll follow you...?

Rejected?! Gaku, I'd be an idiot if I did that.

[ She says it lightheartedly, but she closes the door behind her and follows him out. It's quite a feat, how she's managed to talk this casually and comfortably around him already. He just has that effect on people, she supposes. ]

Thanks, for taking me out. I...you know, I'm the one who asked, so I made us some small sandwiches. I hope you don't mind?

Of course. I'll make sure not to lead you astray.

[ He gives her a smile, one that's touched lightly with teasing. He leads her out and to a quiet, tucked-away place not too far from their place. ]

I hope this will suffice?

[ Oh, nice. It's not a far walk, and it's quiet. She's definitely okay with this. ]

Yes, I think this is a nice spot.

[ She'll help Gentaro with the set up, if he'll let her! She wants to be helpful. More proving that she's a good housemate, etc. ]

[ Wow, funny hearing that! Gaku can't help but immediately think back to the girl he likes rejecting him.

But that's not something you bring up on a date, so he leaves those thoughts behind. ]

No, not at all.

[ Hmmm. Did he bring the wrong sort of food— ]

I hope you like what I brought.

[ Big F to Tsumugi.......... ]

What did you bring?

[ He'll definitely let her! Once it's all set up, he takes a seat on the blanket. ]

Thank you for agreeing to come with me. I hope you enjoy what I've made.

Soba noodles... this one is a cold dish, so it doesn't need to be warmed up or anything.

[ He thought it was fun and creative, but perhaps not. ]

Ah, yes, I'm sure I will. I made something as well –

[ And she pulls out her own contribution: Some small spinach wraps. ]

I couldn't make too many of these since the grocery store isn't well-stocked on certain things, but I hope you enjoy them anyway...

Oh-! That sounds great, actually.

[ Now she feels like her food is lame!! But it's fine, she's not going to make a big deal out of it. She's just excited for the date? ]

I'm looking forward to trying it, since I know how much you like it. Thank you.

That's quite alright. I'm touched you made something.

[ He means it. Gentaro's not used to people doing things for him, aside from Dice and Ramuda. It makes him feel a bit off-balance, but that's not because of her. ]

You'll find I prefer simpler meals, so there's no need for elaborate, complicated food.

Oh. Oh, that's good, then. I'm glad.

[ We love a low maintenance housemate. She sets out the spinach wraps, one for each of them. ]

Well...since we should get to know each other, um...you can ask me whatever you want, I think.

[ He gives her a small smile, then nods. ]

If I venture into uncomfortable territory, please tell me. I certainly don't want to cause you any discomfort.

[ He sets out a container of cinnamon tea, as well as a couple teacups. As for food, there's rice and vegetables, as well as a simple sauce. ]

First, I'd like to ask how you're faring here. It can be overwhelming, can't it?

[ Well, she's not going to mention how she cried at least five times for different reasons, but she will be honest about everything else. ]

It...is, in a way. I actually prefer it here to where I'm originally from.

[ She'll leave it at that, for now. She's glad he's being considerate. ]

Can I ask you the same thing?

[ He nods, and Gentaro knows when it's time to move on from a subject. ]

Hmm... I won't deny that I'm slightly inconvenienced by my being here. [ .... ] But I can't say it's unpleasant. Different, certainly, but I have always enjoyed traveling to new places.

No need to thank me. I just hope you like it too.

[ He smiles, waiting for her to stand by his side before he starts to walk towards their destination. ]

Ah...were you pulled here at a bad time?

[ Seems like several others were in that predicament, too. ]

I think it'd be nicer if we weren't being forced to get married...
