[ M-21 can be found at the memo board leaving his incredibly compelling self-advertisement-slash-transparent attempt at cheating. He's also lingering a little over the response to another one before he takes it with him. Catch him in the act, or take him up on his proposition!

Threads using the "compelled to speak the truth" event happen before Jan 7. ]

ii. rain on the beach (Jan 10)

[ Possibly M-21 did not understand the assignment to exercise with a partner. Possibly he's just getting in his laps industriously, proving why he counts for the "works out five times a week" scavenger hunt option. Either way, a little rain isn't going to slow him down any. He's jogging contentedly along the beach with absolutely no regard to how annoying running in sand is, or the rain that should be soaking him.

Probably because there's a localized sunbeam around just him. The smugger he gets about this, the brighter it seems to shine. Does this mean the goddess made up with him? He has no idea, but he's going to bask in it while it lasts. Anyone approaching will get a relatively good-natured nod. ]

[ There's a... quiet excitement about him that she can't quite place. She's only just met him, but... Maybe? It's cute. In a way that almost reminds her of a puppy, for some reason......

Sure enough, that 'cook together' square on her card reads as filled, and perhaps even on his, too, but right now she's more focused on sharing her very first meal in her very first house with her new roommate! ]

Oh! No, please don't worry about that. I like cooking a lot. If you want, we can do this every morning...? It's important to start the day with a proper meal!

She was just curious about his ideal date, thinking that it's an interesting way to get to know someone she's just met, though his answer does have her smiling a bit. ]

Hiking, huh...? Well, I've done plenty of that. I don't think it's on my card, but... We did that cooking one together, so I can help you out! Like I said, we're a team now!

[ If she's got tree climbing, or picnics... Then it would be a fair trade. Otherwise, there's one obvious way to make it fair. ]

[ Its mundanity of it is exactly why it's her ideal date. Life is often so exciting for her already, that whenever there's a chance to walk in the woods on a hike, with no monsters or bandits involved... That's a precious gift.

But, oh. He's got initiative. She's still waiting or the other shoe to drop eventually, for him to end up doing his ideal date with someone else (understandably) but... ]

... Okay, that sounds good. I'll think of what we can take to eat on a picnic with us.
