( having just arrived, Amber is still trying to wrap her head around this place and what it entails. for starters, she finds the bingo card thing absolutely wild. he'll have to forgive her for being a little slow as she wraps her head around all of this, because it's so crazy!
but here she is, with a guy she's only just met, about to play 20 questions. )

( after seeing another Mondstadt lady that she recognises, Amber couldn't resist flagging her down after her hot or not debut on stage. she's excited and a little bit relieved that someone from home is here as well, and above all else, she can't wait to spend some time with Mona. their duties keep them so busy back in Mondstadt, it would be impossible just to meet up like this. )

( after a fun day out, Amber couldn't wait to get home and collapse on the sofa. it's been so nice getting to spend time here with friends from back home like Tighnari, Cyno and Mona. there are plenty of unfamiliar faces to her here as well, and she often thinks that she should try and branch out some more. well, she has been talking to strangers, but it couldn't hurt to do more, right?
it seems that it won't be long before she has yet another encounter with someone she hasn't met before: and it's none other than her roommate! when Amber opens the door and spots him, she offers a polite wave and a bright smile. )

( After an eventful several hours, Mishka had been making peace with the setting and vegetating on the couch. More genuinely, being out had so nearly given him heatstroke, he'd had to reluctantly resign to rest. Years of experience of night without trace of day left him woefully unprepared of the effects of heat and exhaustion beneath the sun's rays.
He seems quite exhausted despite seeming fairly physically fit. So this was the occupant of the other bed, he thinks, when Amber arrives. At a quick glance, she seems like a startlingly cheery girl. He doesn't think he's seen one of those before - not one who wasn't vampiric, he supposes.
He lifts a hand in a friendly wave. )
I'd been wondering when we'd meet. It's a pleasure meeting you, Amber - I go by Mishka. You'll have to forgive me for not rising; my home doesn't have much by the way of sun or heat, but I'll adjust.
( He always adjusts. He pulls himself into a proper sit on the couch, at least, clasping his hands gently together. )
You know, I've never really had a roommate before, nor have I ever really farmed. Would you enjoy a game of 20 questions? It's on my little sheet as a suggestion, and it might be nice to get to know each other better that way.

Mond has gorgeous cobblestone streets and several huge windmills overlooking the horizon. They're so fun to climb up, you can glide right off them! The people are so friendly, the taverns are lively, there's a great big cathedral and a library! And there's a gorgeous lake, and a coast! It's got everything! I wish I had some way to show it to you, words don't do it justice!

... You could call it a series of ruins, I suppose. Unattended to by the deities; left to grow over. All manner of predators have taken up residence in it, which makes it a difficult place to live. Still - for all its challenge, it's produced some especially hardy occupants.
It's made the relative peaceful living of this place that much more novel - and myself all the more intrigued by homes like yours. Should this land's goddess ( question mark ) ever allow us the chance to visit other locations, I'd very much like to see your Mondstadt.
