🌱 The Cozy Kitchen is a very minimalist restaurant that is currently only staffed by Lucia Lee (Chef) and Noé Archiviste (server). There's a handwritten sign at the entrance that reads "INQUIRE FOR JOB OPPORTUNITIES, WILL PAY IN MUSHROOMS/GOLD".

🌱 The interior of the restaurant is earthy and filled with plants, but not too furnished just yet. There are three small, round tables for up to two people each, and a small menu, made up of Lucia's specialties.

🌱 The menu (as of 3rd day of Summer) has Lucia's signature stew, some corn chowder, fried noodles, fried rice, and chicken Alfredo pasta. Water, coffee and tea are also available, though they're nothing fancy at the moment and only come with cream and sugar. Payment can be either in gold (the town's currency) or in any sort of crops. Everything is probably a little underpriced.

🌱 Restaurant hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-3pm.

Ah, Gaku! Welcome!

[ She perks up when she sees him, and rises from her seat. ]

I was hoping to see you here, would you like something to eat? On the house, of course!

I would, but you should let me pay.

[ He smiles, looking around the restaurant. ]

I insist.

[ She deflates a little, because she knows that Gaku will win if they fight over this. ]

...Okay...if you insist... Just a little, though. There's no need to give me too much gold or anything like that.

[ Stares at Ellis and his $30. ]

But I don't mind. And I want to pay you what you deserve for doing all of this.

[ Let him help!!! ]

So... why don't you get me your favorite dish?

[ Since he's being so kind, she'll go ahead and make sure the quality is extra, extra nice. ]

Would you like to try that chowder that I made for us before? I think I may have switched up the recipe a bit.

Oh, switched up? Yeah, let me try that. I wanna see what you've done to improve it.

[ He has high expectations, so she better live up to them! But really, he's excited to see how she's modified it, especially when it was already good. ]

Okay, sure thing. Wait here, alright? I'll have it ready in no time.

[ Expediting cooking has been a learning experience for her, so it's entirely possible that Gaku might be waiting longer than he normally would for a bowl of chowder. That being said, she manages to finish the bowl within at least a reasonable amount of time, and she hurries on over to place it in front of him afterwards.

There's different garnish in it than when he'd first tried it. ]

[ Gaku doesn't mind the wait whatsoever, getting a good look around the place as he does. But he definitely lights up when he sees Lucia walk out with the chowder and he sits back down in his seat, eagerly looking at it. ]

Hey, I see a difference already.

[ He grins, taking a bite, immediately nodding his approval. ]

It's delicious.

Ah, good! Good!

[ She's so relieved. Lucia lets out a breath she didn't know she'd been holding, and she clasps her hands together, delighted. ]

It's good you think so, as one of my only chowder taste testers! I'll always be grateful that you like my cooking so much, Gaku. I got a lot of practice with you, too.

How could I not like it when I can taste the care you put into it?

[ Like always, he's completely and totally sincere. ]

[ Gaku, please. She's feeling a little choked up. ]

[ He sits back in his chair, stretching. ]

[ Aww, Gaku. She's genuinely touched, and it's written all over her face. ]
