[ Gaku is lucky that He Xuan protected their farm during the storm, and so he decides that he'll spend the time he would have spent cleaning his own place up by helping others out. So, he'll wander around town or to different farms looking to see if there's anything he can help out with.

When he spots someone, he'll wave. ]

ii - switch;

[ In lieu of his boyfriend and a familiar getting punished for Ellis stealing a bracelet, Gaku has allowed himself to get cursed by the Goddess. Unfortunately, the curse she gave him was one that altered his personality, causing it to switch completely.

And so for once, his personality matches his aura—overly aggressive and flirtatious. Should you accidentally bump into him, Gaku will turn and scowl. ]

Watch it.

iii - bracelet (one person only please);

[ If he was punished for taking the bracelet, he might as well wear it, right? It's not bad looking, and he hasn't had anything to accessorize with in a very long time. But he knows what it does, so he's extra careful not to accidentally bump into anyone or grab onto their hand. After all, should he grab someone's hand they will be compelled to tell him a secret they would have never told him otherwise.

Which is why he winces when he accidentally trips someone and helps them up by the hand without thinking. ]

[ One collision later, Childe's stepped back, recognition stark on his face. ]

Oh, sorry about that! I was just on my way back from your place. [ Finally, he got around to returning the belongings he'd borrowed the last time, now that he's in possession of opposable thumbs. ] I didn't think I'd catch you all the way out here. Busy?

[ If he isn't, they could go out to eat together, converse a bit, pal around. Friendly stuff. ]

[associative]

[ He likes Childe, but he's feeling a little slighted by being bumped into. Something he'd normally let slide immediately bothers him much more today. ]

Of course I am. Why else do you think I'm out here?

[sluice]

[ Trouble in paradise? Not everything has to be dealing overtly with romance, though. ]

Give yourself some credit. You're not nearly that predictable. [ That's why you interest him so much, Gaku. ] Mind if I tag along?

[associative]

Whatever.

[ He shrugs, walking ahead of Childe instead of waiting for him. ]

I'm just going to the store. I don't know why you'd tag along.

[sluice]

Huh? [ That throws him through a loop, as he rushes to match his pace? Gaku, why. ] Just to keep you company! We could go for ice cream afterwards?

[ Trying out new flavors could be fun. Huckleberry ice cream is his current favorite, but he's still working his way down the lineup. ]

[associative]

[ Ew, company. Gaku makes a face at the thought, but he doesn’t say anything. He can silently deal with it. ]

Fine, whatever. What are you even doing over here anyway?

[sluice]

I came to visit. He Xuan wasn't there either, so I didn't stick around.

[ Hm. ]

Is everything alright?

[associative]

Yeah. Why wouldn't it be?

[ He has no clue that he's acting off. All of his reactions feel normal to him. ]

What's your reason for visiting anyway?

[sluice]

... To see you.

[ Isn't that obvious, Gaku? ]

You don't seem well.

[associative]

[ He stops in his tracks, staring Childe down. ]

I'm fine. Why do you keep insisting that I'm not?

[sluice]

Haven't you noticed? You're not acting like yourself.

[ Bluntness is what he generally favors. Since he's dealt with something similar, Childe doesn't bother sugar-coating his words. ]

... Say, are you really Gaku?

[associative]

Of course I am.

[ He frowns, the urge to push back harder, to assert even more that he is, in fact, himself growing within his chest. ]

Who the hell do you think you are, asking me something like that?

[sluice]

I'm who I've always been. [ He can only ever be himself. Out of some (perhaps misplaced) sentiment, Childe would prefer to avoid fighting Gaku, so he does attempt to defuse this ticking time-bomb of a conversation. ] Why else would I ask? Never thought you'd be so aggressive.

[ Gaku, of all people, is someone he pegs as the total opposite. Hm. Weird. ]

[associative]

I've always been aggressive.

[ That actually is true, but Gaku can typically self regulate quite well outside of a few sensitive topics (which have yet to be touched on in Crescentview). ]

Got a problem with it?

[sluice]

If this is the way you've always been, then you won't mind me returning the favor. Right?

[ One finger beckoning him, Childe rocks back on his heels of his boots. ]

I'll take you anytime.

[ Read: he will knock you out, drag you back to your home, and leave a note for your roommate. He Xuan may not mind doing a grocery run if Childe is the one asking for help? Only time will tell how this pans out. ]

[associative]

Don't be a coward. Come at me first.

[ In other words, it will be very easy for Childe to immediately knock him out. One swift mood and Gaku will be out like a light. ]

[sluice]

Just remember you asked for it.

[ Say goodnight, Gaku! It's not even a fight, just a sharp jab to the solar plexus until the air's knocked clean out of him.

If he crumples— and Childe's fully expecting he will— then he'll drape the guy over one shoulder and begin to drag him back to his farmhouse. Luckily, they aren't that far away, so it'll be a blissfully short excursion. ]

[ Childe is right to expect that, Gaku crumpling easily as he falls against him. Good night! He'll definitely regret all of this when he wakes up. ]

[sluice]

[ Cool, he'll take Gaku back to the farm the guy calls home and leave a note for He Xuan to handle the groceries until his roommate's recovered. Can't be too careful now. ]
