[ where are you right now? are you simply wandering around the island in no particular place? well, for those near the beach you can find a small calico cat who seems rather skittish and may be running away from a dog. fortunately, the dog doesn't seem to be chasing after the cat with any bloodlust but more like following her around? what is happening here?
or maybe you are having a meal when this small calico walks up to you and meows exactly once before sitting politely at your feet. or maybe you're just somewhere on the island in general when you stumble upon her. ]

[ because i refuse to believe that there is not a single bench on this entire island, uta will be outside sitting on one of them while flipping through a book with a title that seems... questionable or exciting depending on your taste in reading material. for uta, however, she'll questioning the novel she received with the proud title of My Boyfriend Is The One Except He’s A Lizard And Father Doesn’t Approve on its cover and spine. can't forget what you're reading, after all.
why is she reading this book outside where god and everyone can see her questionable taste? simple. if she must suffer, she will not go down alone—would be the answer if she was petty. the truth is that she's hoping to pawn it off to someone (anyone) else who finds the faintest interest in it. ]

[ since it has been a bit since they've all arrived, uta will be checking out the boutique's offerings to see if she can't find something to change up her wardrobe. farmcore has never been her thing, but wearing an all-white dress with a short skirt is definitely not practical. that said, she will be posing in front of a mirror in some new clothes which still aren't great for farming before going to change into something else that is a lot more reasonable.
perhaps it's interesting that regardless whatever she is trying on, she'll have a particular straw hat on her head in exchange for the headphones. ]

[ If nobody sees Noé for a few days it means he's glued to the TV, waiting for something that's not Hallmark. Uta's explanation was just that good!! ]
I have no idea, but if we're supposed to play it... then I assume so. I think they're selling some games at the grocery store. [ He's not going to question the sense of it all. ] Do you have something on your card that needs deciphering??

[ It's very satisfying that they both can fill a square, so there's no time to waste, off to the Grocery Store!! Once they're here, as much as Noé wants to check out other aisles, he goes straight to the board games section so they can have a look around. ]

[ He holds up a box containing the Twister game, kind of confused. From the look of it, he has no idea what this game is about. There are just some colorful dots on the packaging. ]

[ uta will dutifully follow noé all the way to the grocery store and casually just take a looksee of everything they pass up. and before he brings the twister game to her attention, uta will totally be interested in the "guess who" game. it seems so weird..? but also looks like it might be fun.
she'll still have it in her hands as she examines the box. ]

But it looks to be bit of a weird game. Why are there just dots? It doesn't really fit the name of "Twister" does it?

[ Maybe not in the middle of a grocery store, though that would definitely be a fun game. He's noticed that Uta's been eyeing other games. ]

If not a spinning top then maybe some sort of fan that you need to put together. Um, like a wind machine or something like that.
[ it'll be a shock to the two of them when they actually open the box and see that it's a giant sheet with dots with a spinner. for now, uta will look at the box in her hands then back to noé. ]
And I'm certainly more than happy to give some of the others a try. I've never seen some of these games before in my life and some of them look like they could be fun.

How about we take as many as we can carry? [ There are lots of interesting ones that make the colorful dots game also known to general audience as the twister game look boring. Sorry, twister lovers. ] I can pay in turnip or something later.

Yeah! Besides as long as we don't take everything, that should be fine, right? They can't get mad at us as long as there's something.

I managed to grab these! [ He presents the game boxes for Uta to see. There's a game with letters (scrabble), battleships, some wooden blocks (jenga), and colorful cards (uno). ] Nice haul!
[ He can't stop staring at the clown and the doctor, what a combination. ]
How about we try Twister first and then just pick whatever game we'd like to play?
