Nothing bad's going on. Trust me on that one.

[ Yuri has no clue that Flynn's assuming the worst. Don't worry, it isn't like he's going to open up a cellar and reveal a skeleton of bodies.

But soon enough he will guide them both to the table where he's already set out food. ]

I just figured that since we've got less time ahead of us, we could spend some time together. Speaking about the future. And what we're going to do about the all of us together.

[ That is very straight to the point, but he's the type of person to get to the heart of the matter. There's no sense in keeping things ambiguous.

Also, Repede is currently in the kitchen, taking up a spot but mostly chilling, watching the three settling down. ]

[ Yuri saying "trust me" should absolutely send shivers down the spine of a sensible man. But Flynn gives that a wry little smile and takes a seat at the table, leaning down to pat Repede.

Whatever's going on can't be all that bad if their dog is here. ]

I'm always glad to see both of you. And you too, Repede.

[ Speaking about the future is a little more loaded now than it was when they first arrived. But if Yuri is going to be direct, there's no reason Flynn can't be logical about this too. ]

If this is about the future, then... I assume you mean about the tasks we need to complete to leave here?

[ Marriage. He means marriage. ]

[Judith has a lot of trust. And in times like these, she's more than happy to go with the flow and see where that takes her.

It's taken her here, apparently, in a tiny kitchen with two handsome men and the best dog in the world. She also gets her pats in.]

You both enjoy dancing around the point these days.

Repede accepts the pets. Also not a canine in crime this time either; said dog is clearly happy to see Flynn in his own way, given the short sound of dog-like contentment. ]

...Hey, I thought I was actually pretty straight-forward about it.

[ Yeah but then again he did not use the mawwiage word. Actually, neither of them did. ]

Anyway, this is about marriage yeah. But, not just about that. I mean, I doubt either of us are just gonna try to forget we all got married together when we went home.

Assuming we all want to stand at the alter together and all that.

[ Oh, Yuri is getting straight to the point point. Not the inconsequential "getting married here to go home" one that they can all doubtless agree on. Flynn, who had seen the shipping wheel via magnifying glass at the karaoke party, gives a little fidget.

It's... something when not all their feelings are reciprocal, isn't it? But it's not like they all have to be exactly equal. Each of them can feel things in their own way. That's fine. ]

I was going to suggest it. I doubt the goddess will have a problem with it being all three of us. As for afterwards... well, none of our obligations are going to change, are they? I'll probably be stationed in Zaphias for the foreseeable future. And I know Brave Vesperia's work will take the two of you all over. I wasn't expecting that to change.

[Judith watches Flynn thoughtfully for a moment before she smiles, nodding in agreement]

I think the goddess will be enthused, regardless. [She taps her finger on her cheek.] I think conventionality was always out the window with the three of us.

[ ... ]

Yeah, we've never really fit the mold exactly.

[ Though, that being said... ]

Even if our priorities mean we're not going to be seeing each other all the time, we can drop on over for long-term visits, you know? [ ... ] So, is that part bothering you, Flynn?

[ Look, he's just going to check in and make sure stuff is okay. He has known the other man all his life and can tell when something might be up. ]

[ He probably shouldn't have expected to put anything past his best friend who's known him his whole life, and Judith, whose intuition is uncanny. Flynn lets out a sheepish little laugh and shakes his head. ]

It's not bothering me. I just thought I should make it clear up front that I'm not asking that from either of you. Of course I'll still expect to see you both.

[ Hm... ]

I suppose the question is, um... what would the marriage mean? To both of you?

[Judith smiles, and cocks her head to the side. Yuri understands her without her having to say a word. But perhaps it was a little harder for Flynn, who didn't have the same experiences]

...it's hard to decide like this.

[And by 'this', she means, the big table in their way. So she'll get up, pet Repede gently once more and promptly sit herself on Flynn's lap. It's maybe a little too cold to be dressed as she is. And Yuri can appreciate this view. Better.]

Hmm...maybe...a home to come back to?

[ That's what happens when you have people on the same wavelength. Nothing gets by their BS detector. Not a single bit.

Repede, as always, seems stoically pleased to receive pets. As for Yuri, he will go on over to plant a kiss on the blond's cheek, and then nose. Even with Judith where she is, at least Flynn's tall enough to make this plausible.

Judith also gets a kiss right on the opposite cheek and even with her bangs in the way, her forehead. ]

...Yeah, I think a home to come right back to fits perfectly.

What does it mean to you, Flynn?

[ A smile on his lips arrives, clear and evident all the same. ]

Judith!

[ Should he have been clever enough to have anticipated that? Probably. His arms go to encircle her waist reflexively, although she's in no danger of falling. He's turning towards Yuri as if looking for an explanation just in time to have his face showered in gentle Yuri kisses.

Well. Now he's blushing for at least three reasons. He didn't expect them to answer so easily. Or so seriously. ]

[ "Home," huh? He knows what that means to him and Yuri. He can guess, at least a little, for Judith. ]

...The same. Or rather... for me, it's a promise. That wherever I am and whatever happens, however we change. That I'll always be home to you.

[ And if he'd doubted that two restless spirits like Judith and Yuri wanted something like that, the way they look right now is fairly convincing proof that he's misjudged. Just a bit. ]

[ The warmth of Yuri's physical affection and Flynn's promise makes her chest ache.

She had said it whimsically, with a little hope but no expectations of reality. It was just how she was. But to hear it like this, straight from both of them...

She's no innocent maiden. But she thinks her heart skipped a beat just for that.

She presses a kiss to Yuri's cheek in turn and then Flynn's, cheerfully pressing close]

Then it seems this marriage will suit me very well. Yuri?

[ Soft...

Yuri can't help but be sucked into the memorable moment. The gentle, heartfelt response that falls on out from the blond, who now seems more at ease. A small smile touches his lips.

Look at that, the knight making both his beloved ones having their hearts race. A true one in shining armor.

He also can't help but lean a bit into the light kiss on his cheek, remaining close still. ]

Heh. What are you asking me for?

I think my answer's obvious, isn't it? [ ... ] I'm all for it, of course. I'd already made my choice, and not just for convenience's sake.

[ This is enough kisses to make Flynn's head spin a little. If indeed it's the kisses causing that, and not the rush of feelings. But he still hasn't reciprocated in kind yet, has he? He turns his head to brush a kiss over Yuri's cheek, and then pauses a moment before he does the same for Judith.

This was so much easier than it had any right to be. Maybe Flynn will just assume it's his own luck holding. Married not just for convenience, but in truth... ]

Then it sounds like we have no shortage of planning to do. Of course there's the ceremony here. But what about when we get back? We could always hold a second one, just for the lower quarter and the rest of the guild. It would be a shame for them to miss it...

[Judith smiles, leaning in to Flynn to make these exchanges easier. She feels warm, like she should go flying. Maybe that can be part of their honeymoon, when Ba'ul is big again.

She doesn't have family, outside of Ba'ul. But now she has both these men. She still has trouble coming to grips with it ]

I agree. I think they would be upset if they think we simply just eloped.

[ See? Sometimes things ARE simple.

... Or well, maybe it is because Flynn is surrounded by two very straight-forward individuals. He's appreciating getting another kiss, this time from Flynn, though. ]

Yeah, like, we're not inviting the entire world, but the Lower Quarter and Guild should know all about it.

Anyone else decent too.

[ That they so happen to know, though that's obvious. ]

I'll keep Emperor Ioder from making any kind of spectacle of it.

[ Maybe it should be in Aurnion? No, Zaphias would be easiest for the lower quarter people. But then again, neutral territory for their guild guests...

Flynn hums a little in thought, eyes already bright with a half-dozen plans. There was a sort of — a security to this that he still doesn't think he quite managed to put words to. Maybe by the time the wedding rolls around he'll have managed. ]

The airheaded prince?

[Judith, Ioder is certainly not a prince anymore. But some things just stuck. Like Yuri's nicknames.

Judith should probably get off Flynn's lap now to give him some space, but she'll stay put a little longer. This chair is more comfortable]

He seems like someone who doesn't know restraint.

[Delivering Flynn to them and all on a shiny silver platter before their trip to Zaude. That had been a surprise]

Ah, I suppose the Elder might like to attend...

That's gonna be a load off of our backs if you can get him to show some restraint. No need for any grand spectacles where this is all concerned.

[ Anything with simply the people they care about attending, but a heartfelt celebration is all they need. Yuri isn't overtly fond of too much attention, as per the usual.

Just nty. But, he's actually looking forward to this thing. A bit surprisingly, even to him, though that is an indication of how much it means to him. As well as the people it will involve; you know, the ones in this very room. ]

Well, it'd be good to bring the old guy around, then.

[ As for any specifics on Yuri's part, it's obvious. No need for anything to be said. Though he's already thinking of the well-intentioned, fond teasing that will come from Hanks and the other folks... ]

[ Flynn, thinking along the same lines, tosses a smile over at Yuri. One arm still around Judith's waist, he reaches for Yuri's arm to pull him down for another cheek kiss. Maybe he's not done with that yet when he's still so happy. ]

I wonder if he'll get along well with Hanks. It would be nice to get everyone together for a bit.

[ How much will Yuri complain if Flynn invites Leblanc and his men? Well, he can work out the guest list for home later. ]

This place first. Um... I'm glad this isn't just so we can all go home.

[ Judith smiles at both Flynn and Yuri, on an odd sort of high. She never thought she'd be fine with being tied down at all. But between the three of them, she feels steadier than ever.]

[ Wow, ensuring that Yuri's going to be remaining sentimental for more than five seconds huh. How could y'all do this to him...anyway, he snorts when he receives another cheek kiss, but you better believe he's not going to be complaining from more affection.

It's funny. He never imagined that he would see himself as somebody who'd like this sort of thing. Yet, here he is, with both Flynn and Judith, enjoying it without reserve. ]

Maybe he would.

[ As for the other matter... ]

I'm with Judy, of course. But, you know what? I'm not surprised you'd be the worrywart of us three.

[ Fond teasing, of course. ]

You mean that I'm the practical one.

[ Yuri's allowed to tease, but that doesn't mean that Flynn won't take a little swipe back. Even if he's still holding onto Yuri, letting his hand slide down Yuri's arm to twine their fingers together instead.

This isn't the best place for cuddling. But Flynn is nothing if not resourceful. Also just realizing that in his little counter-jab at Yuri he may have miscalculated. ]
