I am excited to have you along for a group excursion to the mysterious new island! In two days' time, let us gather in the town square and set off from there! Please be prepared to stay the night. It will be so fulfilling and memorable for everyone to spend a night on an adventure together!

On the promised day, once everyone (and likely a few surprise tag-alongs) has gathered or been gathered, Ori distributes little paper bags of snacks to everyone. Inside are cookies, oat snacks, and a freshly-picked apple from her and M-21's orchard. Do with them as you please... Just don't let her catch you throwing it into the sea or something. 🥺 ]

Alright. I think we should head out, then! Thanks for coming along, everyone! I hope it'll be a great time. Oh, and please don't forget to drink plenty of water and use this incredible ointment I discovered on this island! It's called "sunscreen!" Tieflings don't really get sunburnt, but you should use it!

I appreciate you wanting to defend TRIGGER as a fan, especially when someone references a scandal like that. But you can’t do that at your own expense either. Support us in other ways, like listening to our songs or showing up to concerts. That kind of thing is meaningful too, you know.

[ Ellis could go on about how he has no consequences (that matters to him) to deal with in this dream-like memory sharing, but he'll just go for the normal route instead. ]

I think more than as a fan, I did that as a person.

I think you should be offered basic decency at the very least when you're invited to their show, or anywhere, really.

[ Gaku laughs, but there’s no taunt or bitterness behind it. ]

At the end of the day, that host is just trying to keep his job. He was probably forced to ask something like that… not like it didn’t piss me off though.

Just because it's done that way, doesn't mean it has to be done that way. But thanks for letting me know. Don't you have a busy schedule? You should get going. Being in a room with a fan won't go well if they find out.

[ He laughs again, shaking his head. ]

[ Gaku being like this makes Ellis want to fuck around, so that is exactly what he'll do. ]

Are you saying that I'm not cute?

[ Also, what? "We're two guys"? He can't wait to tell Gaku his experiences when he leaves this place. ]

[ He leans forward. ]

You're not exactly my type. [ After all, his type is Tsumugi Takanashi. ] But you're not bad looking. I think you could be an idol.

[framestory]

[ Can't believe he got rejected twice by the same guy who chased him down so fervently. What the fuck. Ellis feels so annoyed for some reason!! ]

I don't want to be an idol.

[ He wants to tease Gaku some more, but Gaku is the one who's leaning in. He frowns a little and then huffs, crossing his arms. ]

Oh.

[ He raises his eyebrows, but he doesn’t lean back. ]

There’s acting too. But I know some people really like working in film crews… are you one of them?

[framestory]

You don't have to help me get a job. Thanks, though.

[ ... ]

Why are you leaning so forward?

[associative]

[ He smiles a little. ]

I'm being attentive.

[ Fanservice? Yep!!

But there's a knock on the door before he can say anything else, and a blonde woman walks in. Almost immediately, the look in Gaku's eyes changes, his eyes lighting up in a way that Ellis might be familiar with being directed at him instead. ]

Oh, Gaku! I heard you might be in here. Is everything alright?

[ She looks over at Ellis, giving him a small smile. ]

Yeah, things are fine.

[framestory]

[ Ellis smiles a little in return, the customer service smile that people usually get from him. He looks over at the two--thinking that the woman must have been the person who Gaku liked a lot by the look in Gaku's eyes. He watches them quietly for a while... ]

[associative]

[ It's honestly almost like Ellis isn't there... At least, not until Gaku suddenly remembers that he is. ]

Oh, I'm gonna help him find a new job. This was just a one-time mistake, and I can't get mad at the guy for defending me.

[ Tsumugi smiles a bit. ]

If anyone can help him out, I know that TRIGGER can.

[framestory]

[ Ellis knows that this isn't the same Gaku, but he doesn't like this feeling. He's so used to the attention being on him like that instead of someone else.

...

He tries to suppress the feeling. Ellis doesn't want obsessiveness to come around again. Once was enough. Never again. ]

You should still focus on your own things. I'm fine though.

[ He says, lying like breathing. ]

[ He turns to look at Ellis. ]

Are you sure? You caused trouble because of me.

[ Gaku looks back at Tsumugi, who seems to be silently agreeing with Ellis, her expression firm. That seems to be what fully convinces him. ]

...I guess you're right. I should focus on TRIGGER over anything else right now.

[framestory]

[ ...

Ellis tries not to stew in his own feelings and waits for Tsumugi to leave so that he can have his last word before Gaku leaves too. ]

[associative]

[ As Ellis is waiting... Gaku turns to him. ]

I think they'll be here to fire you soon. [ He smiles over at Tsumugi. ] Should I walk you back to the IDOLiSH7 dressing room?

[ He'll go ahead and start walking towards the door. Either Ellis holds him back or says it now— ]

[framestory]

[ Ellis follows before he completely leaves, but Ellis holds onto Gaku's shoulder from the back and leans into his ear to whisper: ]

I voted for you in the poll.

[ Then Ellis closes the door between them. Bye. ]

[ It takes a moment for his brain to register, for him to realize exactly what is being whispered into his ear.

But when it does? His face turns a bright, bright red.

His red cheeks are the last thing Ellis sees. ]
