I am excited to have you along for a group excursion to the mysterious new island! In two days' time, let us gather in the town square and set off from there! Please be prepared to stay the night. It will be so fulfilling and memorable for everyone to spend a night on an adventure together!

On the promised day, once everyone (and likely a few surprise tag-alongs) has gathered or been gathered, Ori distributes little paper bags of snacks to everyone. Inside are cookies, oat snacks, and a freshly-picked apple from her and M-21's orchard. Do with them as you please... Just don't let her catch you throwing it into the sea or something. 🥺 ]

Alright. I think we should head out, then! Thanks for coming along, everyone! I hope it'll be a great time. Oh, and please don't forget to drink plenty of water and use this incredible ointment I discovered on this island! It's called "sunscreen!" Tieflings don't really get sunburnt, but you should use it!

[ And he even has a few more to do as well, so he really shouldn't stall. Gaku looks back over at Tsumugi. ]

I should probably go then.

[ It looks like he's thinking of saying something else, and Tsumugi tilts her head. Ellis has one chance to save him from being rejected twice. ]

[ Ellis doesn't know what's going to happen, so he just waits for Gaku. ]

What about this humble soba deliveryman? I'll make time for you, or take you anywhere you want. You won't be bored. I promise you the best day you've ever had. Would you spend that with me?

[ Tsumugi looks... very unsure, and extremely taken aback. ]

Um... I appreciate the thought, but... I don't do that kind of thing with someone I just met...

[ Gaku, youre so dumb. Ellis kinda hates that he finds this endearing now because while Gaku is brave, he is also stupid. But well, he's his stupid now.

So Ellis goes to hug Gaku's arm. ]

[ Tsumugi looks... very confused. And so does Gaku when he looks over. ]

[ He feels bad rejecting someone, and he can't even give the excuse that he doesn't know this guy either, considering that he tried to ask Tsumugi out while pretending to be someone else. ]

Yeah, she doesn't know if you're her type either.

[ It was in part teasing Gaku and part trying to get him to understand how Tsumugi feels. ]

Come on, lover boy. Your princess is in another castle.

[ ...The guy has a point, so Gaku simply nods. ]

Well... in that case, I'll see you around sometime.

[ He waves and grabs the rest of his stuff to make his exit, extracting himself from the other guy's grip.

When they're both outside of the building, Gaku heaves out a sigh. ]

At this rate I'll never get a cute girlfriend...

[ Ellis just smiles at him. ]

You can't have someone monopolize you because it ruins a fan's immersion. It's too bad since you're a decent guy.

[ He frowns. ]

I know. But I still want one anyway.

[ Wait a second. Gaku looks wary. ]

How’d you know it was me and not some delivery man who looks like the idol?

[ Would it be too creepy to say that he's seen Gaku enough times without makeup on? Absolutely. ]

[ He leans in towards Gaku. ]

[ Ugh, don’t rub in that it was twice!! ]

[ He pauses. ]

[ How many times has it been? Third? Fourth? He keeps getting rejected and it almost pisses him off.

So he pulls Gaku by the collar to give him a short kiss and then runs away. Bye!! ]

It takes Gaku a full minute to process what happened, and by the time he does, the mystery delivery guy is long gone. ]
