Hello, intrepid adventurer!

I am excited to have you along for a group excursion to the mysterious new island! In two days' time, let us gather in the town square and set off from there! Please be prepared to stay the night. It will be so fulfilling and memorable for everyone to spend a night on an adventure together!

If you have any questions or concerns, please come find me at my flower shop in town or at the forest farm where I live!

[ If she accidentally delivered it to a few wrong mailboxes, then... Oops!

On the promised day, once everyone (and likely a few surprise tag-alongs) has gathered or been gathered, Ori distributes little paper bags of snacks to everyone. Inside are cookies, oat snacks, and a freshly-picked apple from her and M-21's orchard. Do with them as you please... Just don't let her catch you throwing it into the sea or something. 🥺 ]

Alright. I think we should head out, then! Thanks for coming along, everyone! I hope it'll be a great time. Oh, and please don't forget to drink plenty of water and use this incredible ointment I discovered on this island! It's called "sunscreen!" Tieflings don't really get sunburnt, but you should use it!

[ And with that our intrepid adventurers set off to the mysterious, dangerous, unknowable... resort island! ]

Oh, I see... So you've struck out independently, is that right?

[ She can... Kind of relate? She left the mercenary group she and her sister practically grew up in... ]

I hope that means you and the other, um, members... Have more freedom now?

[ She remembers when they had gone camping together, and he talked about how restricting the life of an idol can be.... ]

[ That's a pretty sensitive topic, so he lowers his voice. ]

We have a lot more work to do now. But you know how it is, right?

[ He smiles, soft and genuine, even if it's still a bit distant. ]

We'll still be here, though. TRIGGER might have to go over obstacles, but we'll never go away.

[ And speaking of... someone coughs behind him to get his attention, and Gaku grins sheepishly. ]

Go back around to the front of the stage so you can get a good view. We'll be out soon.

[ She does not, in fact, know how it is... ]

I... Believe in you all...!

[ But at his prompting, she goes around to the front of the stage as she looks up in awe. She's definitely not seen a stage like this before; it's unlike the stages in the very few theaters she's been in, and definitely not like whatever random corner of taverns she usually sees bards perform in!

She's so, so excited. ]

[ The performance is about to start, so plenty of people mill around the stage, drawn in by the large posters hung up around it. Many of them are chattering amongst themselves, some talking about wanting to see TRIGGER, while others are expressing their surprise that TRIGGER is still around at all. Some even talk about their fall from grace and how easily forgettable they are.

Despite the range of conversations, they're all interrupted as TRIGGER walks out from the tent and onto the stage, gasps of surprise echoing over ever-growing crowd before it falls into a hushed silence, brimming with an excited air. TRIGGER doesn't linger in the moment, however, as Tenn gives a short greeting before they very quickly go into a song. As their performance goes on, more and more people stop by the stage, holding up their phones to take pictures, talking to their friends about how they can't believe what they're seeing, or simply doing nothing at all as they stand, entranced by the performance. And if Ori looks around, she'll notice a number of fans around them crying as they sing along to the lyrics.

Once the song is over, a few fans shout for an encore. Gaku holds the microphone up to his mouth, looking a bit sheepish. ]

Sorry! There are too many people in the crowd, so we'll have to part ways for now. But we'll be back.

[ The other two members of TRIGGER apologize for the long wait too, but as the shorter one in the center starts to speak, his words falter and his voice cracks. It doesn't take long for the realization that he's crying to hit the crowd, several shouting at him not to cry as tears rolls down his cheeks. ]

Thank you... I'm glad... we got to sing our song...

[ And just like that, a lot of audience members sniffle as they wipe a stray tear away. After such a long wait, the moment feels surreal for them. ]

[ Oh... They really gave her no choice but to stan!!

This is, of course, entirely different from any performance she's ever seen. Not even the strongest illusory magic or moving lyrics can compare to the sheer energy of this performance, from the way the music sounds, to all the technology and bright lights, and most of all to how it utterly electrifies the crowd.

Naturally, she can't help but get swept up in it, too, similarly watching entranced. While she doesn't know the lyrics and can't sing along, she does end up tearing up a bit, too. Her focus is on Gaku the whole time.

She's so proud of him. He's so much more incredible than she already thought him to be. After all is said and done and one of the singers starts to tear up, too, she only cries all the more. She doesn't even know who he is, but it's easy to dial into the feelings he's trying to convey. ]

I'm glad you got to sing your song, too...

[ She knows no one can hear her, but she mutters it quietly to herself nonetheless. ]

The atmosphere, along with members of the audience telling him not to cry only makes the shortest one—Tenn—cry harder, so Gaku is quick to step between Tenn and the crowd with a towel, silently instructing him to put it over his face to cover it up. He turns back to the audience, a small smile on his face. ]

Sorry everyone, but can I ask you not to upload pictures of his face right now?

[ A few members of the audience shout out their agreement, and Gaku nods in thanks. He looks deeply appreciative, and a touch relieved too. ]

We'll see all of you again soon! Wait for us!

[ He waves as the tallest member, Ryu, gives his own thanks and wishes everyone well. As they wrap up, Gaku ushers both Tenn and Ryu offstage, careful to keep Tenn's face covered and away from any potential pictures.

It takes them a bit of time to get into the car, so if Ori wants to catch Gaku again, she's more than welcome to. If not, they'll get into the car and wait as their manager takes down the setup, and the memory will end. ]

[ Ori's heart really aches for Tenn when he keeps crying, but soon enough Gaku is stepping in. She can't help but look around to see if the audience will actually honor his request, and finds herself relieved that they do. He really cares for his friends in the group, doesn't he?

Ori will watch how the crowd disperses after the show ends, taking in the lingering atmosphere of the performance, listening to how much fans enjoyed themselves. It feels like a special thing to be a part of.

As such, she doesn't quite make it to catch Gaku. But it's alright - she can tell him how proud he is of her in person, when they're awake again. ]
