FEBRUARY CATCH ALL
Who: Judith and everyone and anyone?
When: All throughout February
What: February catch all - starters and all
Warnings: Potentially some NSFW stuff eventually?
i. a young space whale the size of a cow appears
[Along the beach, you may hear a loud cry and a dark shape flying in an odd pattern in the sky. It descends rapidly, with a smaller figure leaping off it, followed by a loud cloud of sand flying in the air in the far distance, clouding everything up. If you manage to catch up, you may find Judith petting a large whale-like dragon creature, who is half buried in a mountain of sand. Oddly enough for Judith, she looks a bit concerned for once, and her worry visibly shows on her face]
It doesn't seem like you're big enough to navigate those kinds of winds anymore, Ba'ul.
[Ba'ul gives a sad wine.
Approach with kindness? Or approach with fighting intent, and Judith WILL fight you]
ii. You cyant do that. nyan you can.
[ When Judith wakes up being unable to stop talking without a 'nyan' attached to everything she says, she decides to take it to its logical conclusion. She cheerfully puts on a very suitable outfit, but this time accessorised with cat ears and a tail that match her hair. She's out for trouble, and she's offering chocolates that make people want to hold hands]
Would you like one, nyaa~?
iii. Justice of Brave Vesperia
[It is perhaps fortunate Judith's farm hasn't quite come along as far as others yet. It's mostly overlooked high in the mountains, until one day, pirates descend upon it. That wont do, that wont do at all. It's her home and she has every intent on protecting it or any other farmstead that requires help. She'll be helping with clean up as well, ferrying supplies around with Ba'ul to make things go faster.
Judith will be darting around with her spear, fighting off the more belligerent ones quite viciously with her spear. You may come to her aid, or you may decide you need her help instead.]
iv. Pumpkin carving
[Never let it be said that Judith has no imagination. She'll happily park herself at a table in the middle of town as she uses a very sharp knife to carve up an unusual looking pumpkin. If anyone approaches, she'll look up and smile]
Would you like to join me?
v. WILD CARD
[pm me if you'd like any other starters]

But, ah. He's actually heard M-21 under that curse before, and his lips quirk with a bit of amusement. He, also, happens to have his chocolates on hand.]
If I can offer you one in return, of course. [He pops up the lid. Only a couple are missing.]
Re: II
Judith brightens and takes a chocolate in turn]
Of course, nyaa.
[She of course, doesn't eat it ]
Should I know what yours has been cursed with?
no subject
I'm afraid I haven't figured it out. [He does look sheepish at that.] No one who has eaten one in front of me has seemed terribly different.
[It makes people friendlier. But he's managed to only share it with friendly people so far.]
no subject
[ Time to be adventurous then. She'll pop one in her mouth. Hmmm.
Hmmmmm.
How long for the effects to kick in?]
I don't feel sick at least.

[ She's been giving hers out but never stopped to watch people eat hers. No one has come back to yell at her at least?]
no subject
He's not really thinking about it as his hand reaches to try and grab Judith's.]

wildcard~~~
A little walk up to the mountains afterwards at least gives him time to clear his head, though he's sure he's not the only one feeling restless now. It wouldn't surprise him if Judith would rather go off flying to blow off some steam after this. ]
...She was only toying with us. But I still think we could make a better showing with more training. Would you like to practice more later? I think if I improved my coordination with you it could help considerably.
Re: wildcard~~~
We only ever got to practice a few times together while travelling, didn't we?

[ And if the drama CDs are to be believed, she dropped Ba'ul on him one of the rare times he had the opportunity.
Flynn follows, his steps brisk in a way that probably can't wholly hide the impatience bubbling up in him. He wonders if it's obvious to her; he really can't read Judith's quiet smiles well at all. Perhaps a little more time together will help with that, too. ]

Weapons or no weapons?
no subject
Especially since someone left him out of their barfight when they arrived. ]
No weapons. What are the terms?
no subject
Hmm.
[ First blood is too hard without weapons. And Judith wants the rush of battle, the feeling of getting bruised and hitting back just as hard]
Let's go with pinning for the count of three. Or until we can't get up.

i;
Woah there. I guess the goddess decided he'd be easier to handle like this.
[ He wonders if there's a wall to put him back to his original size...probably. Some of the powerful magic here or there is beyond him at times. ]
Re: i;
I suppose Ba'ul's true form would have been too much for an island this small.
[ Ba'ul whines sadly]
no subject
[ Though it's a fair point, poor Ba'ul indeed. Well, Yuri is sure that things will be fine eventually, or maybe that's his chillax ways coming in thinking as much.
But, anyways, he's just going to casually take out a box of chocolates because he has been conveniently carrying them with him. ]
Say, I ended up getting these chocolates. Want to have one?
[ Just be aware, they have these effects! ]
no subject
[If Yuri eats hers, she'll eat Yuri's, regardless of the consequences, she supposes. She offers hers in turn]
no subject
[ This is just an innocuous exchange of chocolates, right?
After eating one, he pauses and then holds his hand out to Judith. ]
Feel like holding my hand?
no subject
[ The words fall out of Judith's lips as soon as she finishes her chocolates and she blinks, but holds out her hand for Yuri to take]

Memshare with Flynn
But, when she was eight, she had understood one thing: it was even scarier not to be seen by the people you loved. That fear never quite left her, and it was through that she kept her shields up, everyone at a distance.
People wouldn't understand why she had to do what she did, so she didn't try to make them.
Then she met Yuri. Judith knows everything changed, right after that. And little by little, she let people see more. Some of it came so naturally, she hadn't noticed - Yuri's sharp, thoughtful gazes as he let her stand by them all without pushing her to say a word. The innocence of Karol's cheerful acceptance. Rita's sharp angry rebukes. She had been seen, in so many different ways. She hadn't realised how desperately she had wanted to be seen, to have herself understood.
And now?
Now she wants Flynn to see her, and understand her. She's already shared one part of her heart with him. Now she needs to share the rest. It's a strange feeling to have, but before they leave this island, she thinks--
Well. They might as well take advantages of the shortcuts the goddess wanted them to have. Yuri knew plenty through their travels. But Flynn hadn't had the same privileges. And neither had she had the privileges of knowing another so deeply through childhood experiences.
She sits herself on the edge of the bed, combing out her hair as she glances over at Flynn slyly. The room is warm, and the bed soft. There's a scent in the air--lavender perhaps? Maybe that was to provide them both good dreams.]
Are you afraid?
no subject
Especially after they do this. ]
I don't think so. I think... we already know each other, whatever we see in the dreams. But we don't have to do this if you aren't certain.
[ Judith always projects certainty. Even now, it's hard to tell. He pauses a moment before he shifts closer to her side of the bed and holds out his hand for the comb. ]
May I?
no subject
[ And that was the one trait Judith could pride herself on - she only acted with certainty. Never looking back or away. She knew her flaws, knew her memories well. She wonders if there's anything Flynn hesitated to share.
She pauses and tilts her head up, lips curving just so as she holds up her comb in offering]
Thank you.
no subject
I like doing this kind of thing. There's something soothing about it.
[ He offers it just a little shyly, one more step in getting to know each other. And maybe it's a slight admission that he's a little nervous. ]
no subject
[ Judith leans back, her eyes sliding shut in pleasure. It's not something she's used to other people doing. It's another gesture of vulnerability, meeting Flynn's admission half way.]
no subject
And you're trying to tease me again.
[ But she's still leaning trustingly into his touch like this. Small wonder that he's feeling a little bit nervous. ]
