i. a young space whale the size of a cow appears

[Along the beach, you may hear a loud cry and a dark shape flying in an odd pattern in the sky. It descends rapidly, with a smaller figure leaping off it,  followed by a loud cloud of sand flying in the air in the far distance, clouding everything up. If you manage to catch up, you may find Judith petting a large whale-like dragon creature, who is half buried in a mountain of sand. Oddly enough for Judith, she looks a bit concerned for once, and her worry visibly shows on her face]

It doesn't seem like you're big enough to navigate those kinds of winds anymore, Ba'ul.

[Ba'ul gives a sad wine.

Approach with kindness? Or approach with fighting intent, and Judith WILL fight you]

ii. You cyant do that. nyan you can.

[ When Judith wakes up being unable to stop talking without a 'nyan' attached to everything she says, she decides to take it to its logical conclusion. She cheerfully puts on a very suitable outfit, but this time accessorised with cat ears and a tail that match her hair. She's out for trouble, and she's offering chocolates that make people want to hold hands]

Would you like one, nyaa~?

iii. Justice of Brave Vesperia

[It is perhaps fortunate Judith's farm hasn't quite come along as far as others yet. It's mostly overlooked high in the mountains, until one day, pirates descend upon it. That wont do, that wont do at all. It's her home and she has every intent on protecting it or any other farmstead that requires help. She'll be helping with clean up as well, ferrying supplies around with Ba'ul to make things go faster.

Judith will be darting around with her spear, fighting off the more belligerent ones quite viciously with her spear. You may come to her aid, or you may decide you need her help instead.]


iv. Pumpkin carving

[Never let it be said that  Judith has no imagination. She'll happily park herself at a table in the middle of town as she uses a very sharp knife to carve up an unusual looking pumpkin. If anyone approaches, she'll look up and smile]

[ Judith can't remember the last time she had been so thoroughly toyed with in a fight. It was definitely frustrating. She glances over at Flynn, smiling as she reads the frustration in the lines of his body too. She nods, her steps taking them straight to her home. She had a nice field behind her small farming plots. They could use that ]

We only ever got to practice a few times together while travelling, didn't we?

Unfortunately, yes. It never felt like there was quite enough time for more.

[ And if the drama CDs are to be believed, she dropped Ba'ul on him one of the rare times he had the opportunity.

Flynn follows, his steps brisk in a way that probably can't wholly hide the impatience bubbling up in him. He wonders if it's obvious to her; he really can't read Judith's quiet smiles well at all. Perhaps a little more time together will help with that, too. ]

[She comes to a pause in a clearing surrounding by the trees in her orchard. Here should do nicely. She glances over her shoulder as she stretches out. She feels refreshed, like the previous spar never happened at all. It's infuriating ]

Weapons or no weapons?

[ Oh, he hadn't quite expected that one. His lips part in momentary surprise as his hand goes to his sword belt in consideration. It's not that he feels no reservations at all about hitting a girl. But the thought of a bare hands match is a little tempting.

Especially since someone left him out of their barfight when they arrived. ]

No weapons. What are the terms?

[moonstriking]

[ Can't blame her for that one ]

Hmm.

[ First blood is too hard without weapons. And Judith wants the rush of battle, the feeling of getting bruised and hitting back just as hard]

Let's go with pinning for the count of three. Or until we can't get up.

[knightunerring]

[ Flynn nods as he unbuckles his sword belt and lays it carefully against the trunk of one of the nearby trees. Not that he would ever think about cheating, but there's no need to have it in the way. ]

Agreed. Whenever you're ready, then.

[moonstriking]

[Judith sets her spear against a tree, cocking her head as if waiting for the breeze to blow in the right direction. And then suddenly she's launching herself forward with a punch aimed at Flynn's nose]

[ It's exactly what he expected from Judith, but she's still always faster than he anticipates. He brings his arms up to block and tries to sweep her feet from under her quickly.

How long has it been since he's had an unarmed match like this? It feels like a while. ]

[moonstriking]

[ Judith gives a little huff, her eyes brightening in pleasure as she flips back over Flynn's leg, twisting around to kick into Flynn's head. This is what she wants, a push and pull ]

[ It's so easy to underestimate Judith's range like that. Her kick snaps his head to the side, and he grabs for her leg, trying to turn the attack into a throw. After the fight with the goddess, the rush of a fight at his own level sends a familiar thrill through him. ]

[moonstriking]

[ There's a savage feeling of joy that rises in her chest at being pushed without it being a hopeless battle. She can't stop Flynn from throwing her, but she can break her own fall. She goes rolling roughly across the ground and back to her feet with a huff. But the brightness in her eyes is sheer joy and she sweeps back in with another high kick ]

Did that hurt?

[knightunerring]

It might leave a mark. You aren't going easy on me, are you?

[ It's one of the things he likes best about her. It feels a little like fighting Yuri, but more unfamiliar. He tries to duck under her kick this time and lunge forward, more a tackle than a punch. Pinning is one of the conditions, isn't it? ]

[moonstriking]

Of course not. I wouldn't dream of it--

[ Most people avoid grappling with Judith as general rule. Flynn is not most people. Despite Judith's strength, there's not much she can do against Flynn's weight tackling her to the ground. They go down hard, and she feels the solid ground digging into her back, and she gasps, wrapping her legs around his waist to try and twist them around, a shiver delight darting right up her spine. ]

Good. It would hardly be good practice then.

[ This is one of the ways he can't help thinking that Judith is a little like Yuri — maybe moreso, when Flynn knows the playful tenor of Yuri's reckless headlong energy intimately. Judith... is still an unknown.

The flush that rises in his face is maybe mostly from the rush of the fight. For the moment she flips them, and he wastes a one-count looking up at her before he reaches for her shoulder and throws his weight against her to roll them again. ]

[ Judith tries to break free from that. She digs her heel against the ground and presses up with her hips at an angle to throw Flynn. But Flynn is strong and Judith is a little unfamiliar with the art of grappling. If she had a little longer, she would have worked it out, but as soon as the three seconds pass, she huffs and relaxes under Flynn but leaves her hands against his shoulders. Her heart is pounding, she's sore in a way that thrills her and most importantly ]

You don't seem to know the meaning of "going easy" either.

[knightunerring]

[ Flynn is too intent on keeping her pinned to falter for anything. But his breath hitches hard when her hips press up against him, and his fingers tighten involuntarily on her shoulder. That was... well. ]

Haha... you can blame Yuri for that.

[ He should let her up. She definitely just conceded the win, so... ]

[moonstriking]

Should I blame him for this as well?

[ She shifts under Flynn, trailing her hand down from his shoulder and over his cheek. Her eyes are bright with interest and she's open to this, if Flynn was open to it as well. It didn't have to be a big deal ]

Will you be taking the spoils of your win then?

[knightunerring]

[ Flynn, being casual about this? Perish the thought. A blush springs up under Judith's fingertips and his hand finally shifts, palm sliding just a little over her shoulder.

This is at least a little Yuri's fault. From the moment she'd told him what they did on the boat, and was entirely too willing to encourage him to entertain certain mental images... ]

Are you and Yuri... do you have an understanding?

[ They're guildmates, and they've spent plenty of time with each other that Flynn wasn't around for. And what happened with him and Yuri on the boat, well. That was the effect of the chocolates... at least partially. ]

[moonstriking]

Of course.

[ Judith's not that evasive, despite appearances. She likes transparency. Her smile widens as she pressed up into to his touch, sliding her hands down to play with the collar of his tunic]

Do you?

[knightunerring]

[ An understanding... hm. Flynn pauses to really think about that, though he lets his fingertips brush lightly against Judith's jaw. ]

We haven't talked about it. But... we've always understood each other.

[ There would normally be more confidence in his voice. But this is admittedly uncharted territory for both of them. ]

[moonstriking]

Hm. Are you really the type to just let everything rest on just talking it out?

[Sometimes, it was easier to just do it. Judith knew Flynn understood that. Her breath hitches and she tips her jaw back temptingly]

[knightunerring]

With Yuri? Some things... we get in our own way if we put off talking about them for too long.

[ But Judith probably knows that too, from seeing them firsthand. Flynn shakes his head a tiny bit. With one more hitch of hesitation he leans in to press a kiss to Judith's throat.

He doesn't need Judith to sort out him and Yuri. It's enough for him to know he isn't hurting either of them by doing this. ]

[moonstriking]

Maybe but--this is simple.

[Judith tips her head back, sinking her fingers into Flynn's hair, pressing him harder to her neck. She doesn't need to be handled so gently right now]

[knightunerring]

[ This is simple. This can be simple. There's something about Judith that feels freeing even to someone like him. He lets out a soft sigh and lets go of any deeper thought, pressing her down against the soft grass as he answers that demand with a much firmer kiss. ]

[moonstriking]

[ Judith sighs, soft with pleasure as she arches up against Flynn, sliding her hands down over his shoulders. She needs these clothes off, she thinks. She arches up against Flynn, quietly demanding as she slips her hands beneath the edges of his tunic, searching for the edge of his shirt]
