🎤WHO: Gaku and Ellis Yaotome! Open to everyone! Gaku has personally handed out invitations to every single person!
🎤WHAT: Wedding!!
🎤WHEN: Winter 20
🎤WHERE: Town Square
🎤WARNINGS: None! Will add if needed!
[ Welcome to the wedding of Gaku and Ellis Yaotome! The ceremony is scheduled to take place in the late afternoon so that the reception can lead right into the evening, making it the perfect time for dancing until the wee hours of the morning. The Town Square is done up nicely, with sleek benches decorated with beautiful flowers for a bit of flare.
The ceremony itself is not drawn out, as Gaku and Ellis are both the kind of people who tend to get right to the point. Both Gaku and Ellis are dressed in nicely tailored suits that invert each other's colors—Gaku's suit is a dark, cool-toned blue with a cream colored vest underneath, whereas Ellis has on a slate gray with a dark blue vest. Their vows are personal and sweet, filled only with promises that they know they can keep. Gaku is a little bit nervous and definitely emotional, but Ellis' calm attitude is contagious enough that he's able to rein his emotions in. Having Lucia by his side as his Best Woman is also a big help, her support meaning everything to him.
With a kiss to seal the deal, the reception is on! ]

[ The tables are neatly set up, and dinner is just as nice, with plenty of options between steak, pasta, and salads. Outside of Gaku and Ellis, along with two seats labeled Tenn Kujo and Ryunosuke Tsunashi right next to Gaku's side, everyone is free to sit wherever they like, and there is no strict schedule when it comes to the time they choose to eat. It seems that although Gaku and Ellis were strict on their fancy dress code, they don't want to keep to a tight schedule. The desserts are also plenty and located on a single table near the cake, an assortment of macarons, cream puffs, and cookies accompanying it.
The reception is filled with music and a light atmosphere, and Gaku will encourage people to dance. He'll also encourage all attendees to take photos at the designated spot. ]

[ Sometime after most people have eaten and at Gaku's insistence, Ellis will be tossing the bouquet! Sure, a lot of people are getting married in a short span of time, but why not? There will also be a guestbook for everyone to leave messages or polaroids taken at the photo wall! ]
( ooc: only one person can catch the bouquet, so that one is first come, first serve! otherwise, feel free to do whatever you like! )

I think it's a tradition that whoever catches the bouquet will be the next one to marry.
no subject
Mm. Already all set, so no need to go after it.
[ But traditions are traditions, so he can still see why people are all for it. Though, with that said, there is something he should say. He has already given such words to Gaku before, but hasn't had the chance to do so where Ellis is concerned, so. ]
...And congratulations.

[ He holds up the notepad closer to his own face, hiding the bottom half of it. His eyes definitely tell He Xuan that he's smiling behind the notepad though. ]
no subject
[ Saying that, as he takes note of the slight crinkling around the eyes that is indicative of a smile for sure. He can tell these sorts of things easy. He's not always so good with emotions, but reading people's expressions are usually easier. ]
Seems like as expected you're enjoying yourself.

I am. Gaku did most of the planning, because marriage is more important to him than it is for me. But seeing Gaku and others happy about this occasion makes all this worth it. Probably because he can't get married once he returns.
no subject
...
That's probably kind of funny, considering his everything, but you know. Though he figures what Ellis mentions is clearly a different world thing. ]
Can't get married once he returns?
no subject
Because Gaku is a pop singer idol. He is the fans' idol. He can't be monopolized by a single person, then the appeal will fall. That's how the entertainment industry works, and Gaku will never give up on it either, not like I want him to anyway.
no subject
That said... ]
An unsurprising sentiment. Seems to me like you'll adjust fine.
[ The two clearly have each other's backs, and that will be what matters. ]
no subject
As long as I have some sort of freedom, I should be fine.
[ He doesn't want to stay home all the time like a shut-in... ]
no subject
Doubt you'll have to worry about that either.
[ He's sure Gaku will bring Ellis on a decent amount of outings of some kind. ]
no subject
You have a lot of faith in Gaku.
[ Ellis does too, but probably in a different way. ]
no subject
[ Gaku has shown himself to be quite responsible, and the other reason is just because he's a friend. Though, while they're talking about faith and belief in others... ]
I'm sure you do as well. But, not like I do.
[ He says absolutely in a matter-of-factly, yet knowing tone. ]
no subject
But it's not so bad, is it?
no subject
...Not so bad, having faith or trust in some people.
[ Certain people, anyways. ]
no subject
Having those kind of people around you really changes things up. It's nice, in a way.
no subject
Thought it would be impossible, even after I arrived in this place.
[ But he was wrong, evidently enough. Undoubtedly something the other may understand, to which he wouldn't be surprised, given what Ellis has just said. ]
