[ Welcome to the wedding of Gaku and Ellis Yaotome! The ceremony is scheduled to take place in the late afternoon so that the reception can lead right into the evening, making it the perfect time for dancing until the wee hours of the morning. The Town Square is done up nicely, with sleek benches decorated with beautiful flowers for a bit of flare.

The ceremony itself is not drawn out, as Gaku and Ellis are both the kind of people who tend to get right to the point. Both Gaku and Ellis are dressed in nicely tailored suits that invert each other's colors—Gaku's suit is a dark, cool-toned blue with a cream colored vest underneath, whereas Ellis has on a slate gray with a dark blue vest. Their vows are personal and sweet, filled only with promises that they know they can keep. Gaku is a little bit nervous and definitely emotional, but Ellis' calm attitude is contagious enough that he's able to rein his emotions in. Having Lucia by his side as his Best Woman is also a big help, her support meaning everything to him.

With a kiss to seal the deal, the reception is on! ]

[ The tables are neatly set up, and dinner is just as nice, with plenty of options between steak, pasta, and salads. Outside of Gaku and Ellis, along with two seats labeled Tenn Kujo and Ryunosuke Tsunashi right next to Gaku's side, everyone is free to sit wherever they like, and there is no strict schedule when it comes to the time they choose to eat. It seems that although Gaku and Ellis were strict on their fancy dress code, they don't want to keep to a tight schedule. The desserts are also plenty and located on a single table near the cake, an assortment of macarons, cream puffs, and cookies accompanying it.

The reception is filled with music and a light atmosphere, and Gaku will encourage people to dance. He'll also encourage all attendees to take photos at the designated spot. ]

[ Sometime after most people have eaten and at Gaku's insistence, Ellis will be tossing the bouquet! Sure, a lot of people are getting married in a short span of time, but why not? There will also be a guestbook for everyone to leave messages or polaroids taken at the photo wall! ]

[ After the ceremony, Gaku spends a lot of time during the reception seeking out everyone that's attending. ]

Hey, thanks for coming. It means a lot.

[ He doesn't spend all of his time doing that, however, as he also spends quite a bit of time taking photos with everyone too, including dragging people over to the small flower wall. ]

Come on, take a few pictures with me!

[ Once he's gotten hungry enough, Gaku is at the table full of desserts, stacking his plate full of cookies and cream puffs. He'll be encouraging everyone to try the cake, as there's plenty to go around. He'll also be eager to pull anyone into a dance with him once it gets late enough into the night.

But eventually, he taps Ellis on the shoulder to get his attention. ]

Hey, why don't we dance a little?

[ It's late enough into the night and Ellis looks at Gaku when he gets tapped on the shoulder. He smiles and holds out his hand to hold Gaku's. Show him yo moves. ]

[ Are you here to catch the bouquet? Well, here is Ellis, ready for a throw. Hope you're ready as he looks like he'll toss it into the air.

He's also eating desserts. Cream puffs are his favorite. Thank you, Gaku, for including them. He's on his... fourteenth(?) cream puff. Don't worry about it.

Other than that, you can see him wandering around the venue, giving hugs to people, greeting others... really, just mingling. ]

( BOUQUET CATCH LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO )

[Owen's first stop was the dessert table, immediately taking far more cream puffs and macarons then one person should feasibly take. Between him, Ellis, and Lovecraft this table isn't going to make it through the night.

He's dressed rather extravagantly, though still in keeping with the cool, muted colors of the wedding. It's a tight dress, so it's a wonder how he's still shoving another macaron into his face.

It's also a wonder how he still has lipstick on at this rate.]

Pictures? What? Why?

[He doesn't really know what a picture is still!!!!]

[ Let's be real, she was already at the flower wall, fussing over it to make sure it looks ✨perfect✨... So when Gaku comes up and says something about taking a few pictures, she steps away from the wall, fully thinking that he's talking to other guests... Except that she's the only one there. ]

...Oh. But— Wait, please let me congratulate you first! I hadn't gotten the chance to, yet...

[ ARTFULLY DODGES THE BOUQUET

but Ori will come find him as he's mingling afterwards! ]

"Congratulations, Ellis!"

[ M-21 has been teaching her how to sign so she can talk to Ellis like this! ]

[A dark presence lingers on the fringes of the reception, though it does occasionally make its way to the desserts to refill its plate with sweets.

Wait, who is this person? At least he's dressed fancy??

He's doing his best to not be noticed, but he can only hide for so long when he stands out like a sore thumb among these light-colored decorations. If he's approached at the table, he'll give a deer in the headlights sort of look.]

O-Oh... [Panic setting in, he drops the sweet he was holding onto his plate and peers around for a hiding spot.] Ah...

[And there he goes??]

[ Best Woman is here for a Gaku photo op! She's looking stylish in her red suit, and Lucia doesn't need to be dragged to take any photos with him. ]

Of course, I'd love to!

[ She wants to keep one, if she can. These are moments that she'd like to remember forever. ]

[ When Ellis goes for his fourteenth cream puff, Lucia is there, too, on her third one. She looks over at Ellis with a bright smile. She's so happy for him and Gaku both... ]

Congratulations, Ellis! How does it feel to be married?

[ ...

Is it unsurprisingly that by the time Gaku ends up going over to come get He Xuan that there's some food in his mouth? Probably not.

But it's where he's been mostly hanging around at. ]

Pictures?

[ This seems familiar because though he doesn't know how too much technological stuff works, he remembers Childe snapping a photo of them. Though this will be different. ]

[ He Xuan's cheeks are stuffed and he's somehow eating during this little event too, even if he's been paying full attention.

...He absolutely does not catch the bouquet, leaving it to somebody else, though. He doesn't understand the custom very well, that's why. ]

Why?

[ Ellis is not strong by any means, but he does his best to launch the bouquet into the air. Looks like Amber will have to exert some effort into catching it, because it's high and distant. Don't let the beautiful sky distract you. ]

[ He's about to get his notepad out when he sees Ori approaching, until he... sees her sign. ]

[ !!!!!

Ellis looks as if he's absolutely sparkling. Ori learned sign language? For real? Ellis seems so excited compared to how he was before and he gives Ori a big, tight hug. ]

[ Ellis takes the time to think about it, since he thinks this sort of answer warrants some thought.

... ]

It feels like a happy occasion and I'm glad to see everyone having fun.

[ Ellis watches Amber chase it after he throws it high in the air... then looks over at He Xuan. ]

I think it's a tradition that whoever catches the bouquet will be the next one to marry.

[ She worries immediately that she might have accidentally said something wrong, and then Ellis is suddenly hugging her tight! Oh! ]

Oof—! Ehe...

[ She can't help but laugh warmly against him as she wraps her arms around and hugs him back. She's so glad she took the time to learn, seeing how happy it's made Ellis... ]

[ Seeing other people learn and use sign language is so new to Ellis, even though a handful of people have done it already. It's always something that can get him up to a better mood.

After the big hug, he pulls away. ]

"Thank you."

[ He makes sure to sign it slow enough for Ori to decipher. He's not going to go ninja hand techniques on someone who just started learning. ]

[ Gaku holds onto Ellis' hand tightly, lacing their fingers together as he leads them onto the floor. He pulls Ellis close, a hand resting on his waist. ]

You look like you're enjoying yourself.

[ He can't really use his hands during a dance to communicate, so he just nods. ]

Fu...n.

[ The word sounds terribly awkward, but he's trying his best to say "fun". It's been fun getting married, watching people react to them getting married... it's been a whole lot. ]

[ Her heart feels so full after that big hug (she loves hugs!) and she watches Ellis' response dutifully; somewhere in the back of her mind she is very thankful for his patience, from having had to communicate using notepad, to signing slowly for her now.

She beams at him. ]

"You're welcome. I'm still learning but I wanted to be able to congratulate you on your big day!"

We can't skip out on pictures when you look so great.

[ So come on in for one! He sets the timer on the camera, putting an arm around Lucia's shoulders as he poses. ]
