[ Welcome to the wedding of Gaku and Ellis Yaotome! The ceremony is scheduled to take place in the late afternoon so that the reception can lead right into the evening, making it the perfect time for dancing until the wee hours of the morning. The Town Square is done up nicely, with sleek benches decorated with beautiful flowers for a bit of flare.

The ceremony itself is not drawn out, as Gaku and Ellis are both the kind of people who tend to get right to the point. Both Gaku and Ellis are dressed in nicely tailored suits that invert each other's colors—Gaku's suit is a dark, cool-toned blue with a cream colored vest underneath, whereas Ellis has on a slate gray with a dark blue vest. Their vows are personal and sweet, filled only with promises that they know they can keep. Gaku is a little bit nervous and definitely emotional, but Ellis' calm attitude is contagious enough that he's able to rein his emotions in. Having Lucia by his side as his Best Woman is also a big help, her support meaning everything to him.

With a kiss to seal the deal, the reception is on! ]



[ The tables are neatly set up, and dinner is just as nice, with plenty of options between steak, pasta, and salads. Outside of Gaku and Ellis, along with two seats labeled Tenn Kujo and Ryunosuke Tsunashi right next to Gaku's side, everyone is free to sit wherever they like, and there is no strict schedule when it comes to the time they choose to eat. It seems that although Gaku and Ellis were strict on their fancy dress code, they don't want to keep to a tight schedule. The desserts are also plenty and located on a single table near the cake, an assortment of macarons, cream puffs, and cookies accompanying it.

The reception is filled with music and a light atmosphere, and Gaku will encourage people to dance. He'll also encourage all attendees to take photos at the designated spot. ]



[ Sometime after most people have eaten and at Gaku's insistence, Ellis will be tossing the bouquet! Sure, a lot of people are getting married in a short span of time, but why not? There will also be a guestbook for everyone to leave messages or polaroids taken at the photo wall! ]

[ Are you here to catch the bouquet? Well, here is Ellis, ready for a throw. Hope you're ready as he looks like he'll toss it into the air.

He's also eating desserts. Cream puffs are his favorite. Thank you, Gaku, for including them. He's on his... fourteenth(?) cream puff. Don't worry about it.

Other than that, you can see him wandering around the venue, giving hugs to people, greeting others... really, just mingling. ]

[ He's about to get his notepad out when he sees Ori approaching, until he... sees her sign. ]

Ellis looks as if he's absolutely sparkling. Ori learned sign language? For real? Ellis seems so excited compared to how he was before and he gives Ori a big, tight hug. ]

[ She worries immediately that she might have accidentally said something wrong, and then Ellis is suddenly hugging her tight! Oh! ]

Oof—! Ehe...

[ She can't help but laugh warmly against him as she wraps her arms around and hugs him back. She's so glad she took the time to learn, seeing how happy it's made Ellis... ]

[ Seeing other people learn and use sign language is so new to Ellis, even though a handful of people have done it already. It's always something that can get him up to a better mood.

After the big hug, he pulls away. ]

"Thank you."

[ He makes sure to sign it slow enough for Ori to decipher. He's not going to go ninja hand techniques on someone who just started learning. ]

[ When Ellis goes for his fourteenth cream puff, Lucia is there, too, on her third one. She looks over at Ellis with a bright smile. She's so happy for him and Gaku both... ]

Congratulations, Ellis! How does it feel to be married?

[ Ellis takes the time to think about it, since he thinks this sort of answer warrants some thought.

It feels like a happy occasion and I'm glad to see everyone having fun.

[ He looks so happy, and it almost brings Lucia to tears. She's been rooting for him and Gaku since the early stages of their relationship, and even if she and Gaku may have had a thing before, she's glad that the two of them mesh so well together. She's going to do her damned hardest to leave them a nice message in their guestbook. They deserve it! ]

It's been a really fun time, and you both did such a wonderful job planning it. I'm so happy for you both! And...

[ After a moment, she pauses and stands a little awkwardly. Then she raises a hand...and makes an attempt at sign language. It's slow, and she feels like this is something she should have learned a while ago, but she will give it her best despite the errors: ]

[ He was about to write that Gaku did most of the planning and that he only chimed in occasionally, but then he sees Lucia signing with her hands and his expression immediately brightens with imaginary sparkles surrounding him.

I think it's a tradition that whoever catches the bouquet will be the next one to marry.

Mm. Already all set, so no need to go after it.

[ But traditions are traditions, so he can still see why people are all for it. Though, with that said, there is something he should say. He has already given such words to Gaku before, but hasn't had the chance to do so where Ellis is concerned, so. ]

[ Waiting outside the venue is Childe, outfitted in an exorbitantly long coat (very extra of him), not lacking in so much hokeyness that he won't wave Ellis over as soon as the opportunity presents itself. It's when their eyes meet that he speaks up. ]

Remember what you told me before? [ The matter of Ellis's unreality is something that's preoccupied for a while. ] I have an answer for you now.

[ Took him long enough to wise up to it, so he may as well spill the beans. ]

[ Wow, it's on the same tier as Kaeya's fluff. He didn't expect Childe to have the answer for him now, but he nods. Yes, he wants to hear it. Let it rip. ]

[ Here's hoping that he doesn't absolutely ruin the moment, as he reaches out of one of these humungous pockets to retrieve his Kamera and snap a picture. Click, click!

With that, he'll wait for the picture to develop, wiggling it a little, before he cheerfully holds it out. It's a pretty sight, Ellis haloed in so much light where he's stepped from the main gathering. ]

You'll know you're real now, because you'll always be able to see yourself reflected in someone else's heart. [ Sorry, Childe has no idea about the eye trauma, but he breezes on nonetheless. ] You'll be able to feel that you matter. You won't disappear, because I'll remember you.

[ Ellis is, of course, irreplaceable and special, the only one in the world that could make these choices, whether to marry Gaku or take the next step forward. ]

The world would be a much darker place without you.
