a rainy day - 10th

[ Today is supposed to be nice and sunny, and it is on most places throughout the island. Everywhere except the area immediately above Lucia, apparently. Wherever she walks, rain clouds follow up above, and there's a light drizzle that sprinkles down towards her. She doesn't have an umbrella. She just seems to be zoned out, walking to her destination: The library.

She's also trying to look at who's in the area, so as to not get them caught up in the drizzling. She'll make an attempt to swerve out of the way of anyone who's passing by, which looks rather odd. Hm. ]

a teenager - 11th

[ There's a girl, somewhere between 15 and 16 years old, with long red hair roaming around. There are two people who currently fit this description, but the glasses give her away – this is not Diluc, this is Lucia. She's currently sitting under a tree in the shade, somewhere near town, pressing buttons on her phone. There's a disgruntled look on her face. Seems like she can't get something to work.

She ends up looking pretty huffy before she shoves her phone back into her pocket. Then, she rises to her feet and starts speed walking towards the shops. Where is she going...? ]

farming - throughout the month

[ Anyone who's passing by the Lucia-Gentaro forest farm may catch her outside at any given point during the day. She's getting to work on her farm, and there appears to be a small assortment of mushrooms growing! How nice. There's also a small patch of flowers that are also in the process of growing. Seems like things are going decently.

There's also a little calico cat that's roaming around outside, circling around Lucia at times. The cat will let out a little "meow" if she spots a visitor, and trot up to the newcomer. This will alert Lucia, and she'll turn to whoever's at her farm and stand up rather quickly. ]

[ She means it! She likes Gaku so much that she can't stop herself from saying cheesy things. Her cheeks flush a little, but she's smiling. ]

[ He gets up and comes back a couple of minutes later with a glass of sparkling water, a few ice cubes floating in it. ]

When it comes to Ellis... it's complicated.

[ She thanks him quietly and takes a sip of her water, but she needs to know more for. Reasons other than her being the other person he's considering. ]

He's not real.

[ Or something like that.

Gaku sits back in his chair, eating more of the chowder. ]

[ Uh? Sir? You can't just drop that information and not elaborate? ]

Um...not real, as in he's too good that you can't believe he exists? Or...?

He says he's not a real person. I think it's wrong, but I haven't gotten very far in talking about it with him.

[ Gaku pauses. ]

He's freaked out over stuff like that in front of me a couple of times.

...I'm not quite sure I follow.

[ She pauses, though. ]

The irony of this is...this is somewhat like the storyline I was writing for a project I worked on in school. The protagonist is a boy who wants to become a superstar, but he's deeply in love with a friend who won't notice him in that way.

[ Huh. He feels a little weird asking, but... ]

The boy thanked his friend for inspiring him, without telling him his feelings, and decided to pursue his path alone, as a stronger person...

[ Well, uh. He doesn't know how to move on from that, so he clears his throat. ]

He Xuan is nice. He's kind of strange, but I think that's because he's really old.

[ ... ]

Like, he's existed for a long time.

No. He told me he's not human, but I'm not really sure what he is.

[ He pauses. ]

He's been to where the gods in his world live, though.

I've never seen him in person before. He's okay with me being here, right?

I make every single one of his meals. He better be okay with it.

[ Otherwise Gaku will have some choice words for him!! ]

Ah. Well...I'm sure he'll be happy for my food, then.

[ Man...man. ]

I feel like I've been cooking a lot for others, actually. It got me thinking about opening my own business, but that's just a pipe dream...

It'll be a pipe dream as long as you consider it one, Lucia. If you do enough squares here, you can get your own business license and have no trouble expanding your shop.

[ Just gotta make sure she knows she's capable!! ]
