a rainy day - 10th

[ Today is supposed to be nice and sunny, and it is on most places throughout the island. Everywhere except the area immediately above Lucia, apparently. Wherever she walks, rain clouds follow up above, and there's a light drizzle that sprinkles down towards her. She doesn't have an umbrella. She just seems to be zoned out, walking to her destination: The library.

She's also trying to look at who's in the area, so as to not get them caught up in the drizzling. She'll make an attempt to swerve out of the way of anyone who's passing by, which looks rather odd. Hm. ]

a teenager - 11th

[ There's a girl, somewhere between 15 and 16 years old, with long red hair roaming around. There are two people who currently fit this description, but the glasses give her away – this is not Diluc, this is Lucia. She's currently sitting under a tree in the shade, somewhere near town, pressing buttons on her phone. There's a disgruntled look on her face. Seems like she can't get something to work.

She ends up looking pretty huffy before she shoves her phone back into her pocket. Then, she rises to her feet and starts speed walking towards the shops. Where is she going...? ]

farming - throughout the month

[ Anyone who's passing by the Lucia-Gentaro forest farm may catch her outside at any given point during the day. She's getting to work on her farm, and there appears to be a small assortment of mushrooms growing! How nice. There's also a small patch of flowers that are also in the process of growing. Seems like things are going decently.

There's also a little calico cat that's roaming around outside, circling around Lucia at times. The cat will let out a little "meow" if she spots a visitor, and trot up to the newcomer. This will alert Lucia, and she'll turn to whoever's at her farm and stand up rather quickly. ]

Hello... Do you need something?

[ If Lucia is speechless, then Noé is spechless-er. That peck leaves his heart thumping wildly in his chest, even though it's just a token of gratitude—at least that's how he tries to explain it to himself. ]

Food. Order. We should.

[ Noé touches his cheek with his hand and looks straight at Lucia. ]

[irresponsibly]

[ Oh. Oh, no. She's not sure if how he's reacting is a good thing or not. ]

Sorry -- I'm sorry, Noé, was that too much? I'm really sorry! I won't do it again! Unless you want me to!

[ Oh no, Noé definitely didn't expect that his brain shortcircuiting will cause such a reaction from Lucia. There's just one way to reassure her, right? ]

No, please do it again!

[ She shouldn't feel bad about this, but is this a good way to communicate it? Who knows. Noé certainly doesn't. ]

Wait, really?

[ Well, she's going to take him at face value? Surely this means he was fine with it, right?

She flounders around a little, unsure of herself -- more so than earlier, somehow -- but she leans in and kisses his cheek a second time. It's not any different from the first, but she certainly seems a little more flustered when she draws back. ]

That was...fine, right?

It was.

[ When Lucia pulls away, he offers her a wide smile... before leaning in to press a kiss against her cheek. While Noé can't explain what exactly the reason for doing it was, it definitely felt right to just go for it. ]

What about that?

[irresponsibly]

[ Hm. She should have honestly seen this coming, but the gesture is still surprising nevertheless. She takes a moment to collect herself and try to calm her racing heart, but she's not so successful in her endeavor, and all she can do is nod.

After a moment, she clears her throat. ]

You can...you can do that whenever you want.

Whenever...?

[ Isn't she giving him too much power? On the other hand, is this really power when his legs feel so weak? Noé shifts his gaze away, his cheeks tinted pink as he nods slowly. ]

Just on the cheek?

[irresponsibly]

[ She wonders if she's reading too much into this. Is he asking for permission to --

Part of her wants to say yes, because that's the safest option, but if she's learned one thing about her time here so far, it's that safest is not always best. ]

I... I mean, if you wanted to, elsewhere. I wouldn't say no?

[ Truly a roundabout way of giving him permission to kiss her for real. ]

[ He was both direct and vague about asking for such a permission somehow, truly amazing. Since he's been granted that, however... ]

If that's the case...

[ His fingers cup her chin delicately to tip Lucia's head up a little. His heart is thumping wildly in his chest and his legs feel even weaker than before, but he leans in closer. ]

I'll give you one more gift. I hope you will like it.

[ Their lips are joined for a few seconds before he pulls away, warmth spread across his entire face. ]

I-It wasn't too much, right?

[ She has to put her hands on his arms to steady herself. She, too, feels like she's about to collapse from the adrenaline of Noé kissing her; he's so sweet and chaste that it makes her heart race in her chest.

When he pulls away, she can't help but touch her fingers to her lips in a little disbelief. She's smiling, though. ]

No...no, not at all. I'm really happy.

You can kiss me anytime, too.

[ He almost said anywhere, but now that he's thinking of it... he's just going to blush even MORE. ]

L-Let's order, you must be hungry.

[ For actual food, not kisses... ]

[ She brightens up when he tells her that, and she's almost tempted to lean in for another one – but, yes, food is important. She's still smiling, and she lowers her hands and lets them fall at her sides. ]

Oh, yes, of course. I'm fine with anything that doesn't have peanuts.

[ She's too giddy to really feel hungry. ]

I think we should eat, but – I'm pretty distracted.

[ He's about to comment about the peanut allergy (he will make sure to remember about it) when Lucia adds one more comment. ]

Distracted?

[ It's the games, right? He's brought in as many of them as possible. It couldn't be because of... oh. ]

Do you want... more?

[ He never says more of what just in case he's terribly wrong. ]

[ Ah.

Her eyes go wide, and she starts blushing all over again. He doesn't mean...? He means the food, right? Surely she shouldn't overcomplicate this – ]

Okay.

[ More food...more kisses...same answer either way. Time to play it safe again. ]

[ Noé Archiviste has just played himself. Now it's on him to figure out what this is about (it always was on him), so he takes a deep breath and smiles sheepishly.

Going for what feels right is just how he functions and for once in his life, food doesn't take priority. Shortly, his hand rests on Lucia's cheek, cupping her face gently while he kisses her forehead. ]

More?

[ He... does want more, actually. ]

[ So she was right, actually. Even so, she's surprised at the kiss to her forehead, and her cheeks go red again when he pulls away. The sweetness of it all is what gets to her the most, and she's so surprised that the only thing she can do is nod in response.

Good choice, Noé. ]

[ They're probably going to communicate with nods and kisses for a while. Well, since he's already kissed her forehead, her lips, and her cheek, Noé goes for her other cheek and sighs softly. As much as he wants to ask if it always feels so nice, he remains silent and presses a trail of kisses along her jaw. ]

[irresponsibly]

[ The kiss to her cheek is also very, very sweet – when he goes for her jaw, however, that's when it's her turn to start short circuiting. It's not unwanted, per se, and it's likely he doesn't realize what this is doing to her heart.

She bites down on her lip – a nervous habit – and moves her hands so they're clinging onto his shoulders. She needs to do so to keep her from collapsing onto the floor. ]

[ When she holds onto him so tight, Noé can think only of one thing: ]

Do your knees feel so weak, too?

[ He murmurs the question against her neck, his breath warming Lucia's skin—something he isn't thinking about much at the moment, honestly. ]

Yes.

[ Her answer is immediate. She sounds quite sure of it, more than she'd like to be, and the breath on her neck certainly isn't helping. Her hands squeeze his shoulders, and she tilts her head to the side in an attempt to give him more space.

...which surprises her, but the heart wants what the heart wants. ]

You're doing okay, right?

[ Rather than pondering the meaning of why their bodies react in such a manner, Noé wraps his arm around her waist to give her more stability. ]

I'm... I'm just doing what feels right.

[ He just says this, as straightforwardly as he can. ]

[irresponsibly]

[ The arm around her waist elicits a quiet gasp out of her, entirely out of surprise. She responds quickly, though, and lets go of his shoulders in favor of wrapping her arms around his neck. ]

...I am, too. I've never...been so close to anyone before, so... I apologize if I make any missteps. Please let me know if you get uncomfortable.

[ That earnest answer makes Noé chuckle warmly, even if that soft gasp earlier was a bit alarming. ]

We're similar in that regard, so don't worry. And I don't want to make you uncomfortable either. Please forgive me if I do something wrong.

[ Without further ado, Noé continues to shower her face with soft kisses. ]

[ She's content to close her eyes and let him work his magic for a little while. His kisses are gentle. She hadn't realized how much she'd been longing for something like this until now, and she can't help the bright and slightly goofy smile that appears on her lips.

At some point, however, she moves one of her hands so she can gently cup his cheek. Her touch is just as soft, if only because she's nervous. ]

Hey...Noé?

Y-Yes?

[ Her touch is so warm and soft that he can't help pressing his cheek into Lucia's hand. Although he's worried that he might have made a misstep, that kind of gesture makes him less anxious for sure. ]
