i. after the hurricane

[ When the skies clear and the sun comes back out after the hurricane passes, Ori does her best to visit every. single. farm. She had spent most of that time inside making sure her and M-21's farm was weathering the storm well enough, and then most of the rainy day following... baking cookies. Many, many cookies.

Which she is now showing up at your doorstep with, rapping upon the door politely. ]

Hello there! I just wanted to check on everyone! Do you need help clearing your farm? Or if you got hurt during the storm, I can heal... Oh! And I have cookies.

ii. funny forest furries

[ On some of the other sunny summer days, Ori will make her way into the woods surrounding the forest farms to practice her magic and figure out what's going on with her shapeshifting ability.

Which is really to say... Anyone exploring or foraging in the woods may find themself running into a rather peculiar sight: choose your fighter between a bear with webbed platypus feet and a platypus face, a rabbit with mouse ears and horns, or a parrot-colored giant owl... ]

iii. double trouble ( aka 'you split into two identical copies of yourself for a day' babey)

[ Did you just see Ori somewhere in town, perhaps delivering flowers during the daytime or hanging around the tavern during the evenings?

Well, now you're seeing her again, somewhere else, even though it seems impossible for her to be in two places at once... unless...?

Anyhow, any prolonged staring will spur the tiefling to approach. ]

Is everything okay? You look like you've just seen something interesting!

I was trying to practice my shape-changing. It's not quite working as intended in this place...

No... I've been trying to turn into a bear to help out with some tasks that require more... strength, but every time I've turned into any animal, features of other animals seem to sneak in, things like that... Ah, I really think the Goddess wants to make me work for it.

Perhaps the Goddess thinks you should try your forms in new ways. Like swimming.

[Bears = good swimmers.

Platypus = good swimmers.

Ergo Platypus bear= ....?]

You know what, maybe... But I'm not the strongest swimmer even in my usual form...

Oh! No harm done, really. It takes a bigger stab than that for my body to sustain the injuries I get while I'm in a different form...!

Most of the time! If a blow is powerful enough to inflict a big enough injury on my animal form, then I poof back and it carries over.

Anywho, you did really well even with that improvised spear! I'm sorry I broke it, though...

It's fine. I knew wood was too weak for anything useful as a weapon, but...

[ She taps her chin thoughtfully. ]

I don't think I've seen a smithy in town, but... Perhaps the Goddess would grant you a weapon, if you ask nicely! Though I must say there isn't much actual hunting to be done here, I don't think...

[She's getting very aware of how...little there is to fight here. It's very strange. Maybe boring]

Well... Asking nicely, and perhaps some produce from your farm. Where do you live, Miss Judith?

Up in the mountains. I can hardly tell if it's any good for growing things.

[ Judith grew up in a mountain village but she never had to do much of the farming herself]

Oh, is that so...? I'm sure there are some crops that would thrive in that kind of setting! Or if not, you could focus on an orchard of sorts... Everything here seems to grow quite quickly, so it's not as if you would have to wait decades for the trees to bear any fruit!

Mmm, an orchard does seem more preferable.

[Farming is so dreary. She's glad there's something about this island that makes it significantly less tedious]

Then I would suggest starting there! Do you have any bingo squares you'd like to complete? That's how we've gotten trees for our orchard I think!
