🎮WHAT: Bonus effects, other things
🎮WHEN: Through Spring
🎮WHERE: Throughout the island
🎮WARNINGS: n/a, will add as needed. Plotting is here
a rainy day - 10th
[ Today is supposed to be nice and sunny, and it is on most places throughout the island. Everywhere except the area immediately above Lucia, apparently. Wherever she walks, rain clouds follow up above, and there's a light drizzle that sprinkles down towards her. She doesn't have an umbrella. She just seems to be zoned out, walking to her destination: The library.
She's also trying to look at who's in the area, so as to not get them caught up in the drizzling. She'll make an attempt to swerve out of the way of anyone who's passing by, which looks rather odd. Hm. ]
a teenager - 11th
[ There's a girl, somewhere between 15 and 16 years old, with long red hair roaming around. There are two people who currently fit this description, but the glasses give her away – this is not Diluc, this is Lucia. She's currently sitting under a tree in the shade, somewhere near town, pressing buttons on her phone. There's a disgruntled look on her face. Seems like she can't get something to work.
She ends up looking pretty huffy before she shoves her phone back into her pocket. Then, she rises to her feet and starts speed walking towards the shops. Where is she going...? ]
farming - throughout the month
[ Anyone who's passing by the Lucia-Gentaro forest farm may catch her outside at any given point during the day. She's getting to work on her farm, and there appears to be a small assortment of mushrooms growing! How nice. There's also a small patch of flowers that are also in the process of growing. Seems like things are going decently.
There's also a little calico cat that's roaming around outside, circling around Lucia at times. The cat will let out a little "meow" if she spots a visitor, and trot up to the newcomer. This will alert Lucia, and she'll turn to whoever's at her farm and stand up rather quickly. ]
Hello... Do you need something?
beach date / campfire!!
Not that Noé can remain in one place for too long—it's his first time on a beach. Before long, he manages to find a stick and starts writing in sand and shows it to Lucia, quite proudly:
Lucia's cooking is the best! ]
Look, someone left a message.
[ Who could that be!! Not that guy with the stick. ]
no subject
Then, she starts tripping over her words. ]
Wh- Noe! Y-you wrote that, right?
no subject
[ He can't lie, so he panics. Hopefully, it's obvious enough that he's behind it, and if it's not, Noé's going to out himself sooner rather than later. ]
I can't be the only one thinking that!
no subject
Hey...you don't have to freak out! This was really nice of you. Thank you, Noe!
no subject
Lucia is the best!
This time, he just grins instead of panicking. ]
Both are true.
no subject
[ Help. She's so red that her blush goes up her ears now, and she looks at him again and takes in his grin. He's so precious. Help. ]
N-no, that's...ah, that's too nice of you...
[ But she'll use her finger to write more messily: ]
NOE IS VERY KIND!
no subject
[ Then, Noé peeks at what Lucia wrote and at the very least she's not the only one blushing now. ]
I've been wondering... we're all from different worlds and places. What is your world like?
[ It's a very sudden change of topic and he's anything but subtle... it's just hard to contain his curiosity. ]
no subject
It's nothing great.
[ ... ]
What about yours?
no subject
What makes you say that? If you don't mind me asking.
[ He's known for his incurable curiosity, but he wants to stay mindful about other 's circumstances at the same time. ]
no subject
My version of earth is ruled by gods and goddesses who only value those who can inherit their abilities. A good portion of the population can. If you're one of the unlucky ones who can't, you're looked down upon.
[ ... ]
I've always been known as a cursed child, for that very reason.
no subject
I'm a cursed child, too! In a way.
[ In what world these words would be considered as comforting? In this one. Without thinking, Noé rests his hands on Lucia's shoulders, his eyes wide open and focused on her. ]
Well, there are more cursed people than me... [ His gaze shifts to the side for a moment, subtly indicating that this is a difficult topic for him. ] But... gods of your world must be blind.
[ How would anyone dare to even think of Lucia as cursed? Noé doesn't understand that at all. ]
no subject
[ She can understand why they think she's no good. She can understand why she's an outcast. But Noe, who's been nothing but kind and friendly and energetic -- how? ]
But why? You're...you're so sweet and well-meaning. I don't understand.
[ She's touched by his words, but truthfully, Noe deserves to be freed from that label more than she does. ]
no subject
[ It's genuinely upsetting that some gods can decide how someone will be perceived for the rest of their lives. ]
It's just... incomprehensible to me. You're so kind and warm.
[ It's not just that, to be honest. Noé, as a person who always tries to get to the bottom of things, simply doesn't want to understand this twisted logic. ]
Everyone from my family is granted the ability to read memories of others. [ He takes a deep breath. ] I'm not a human in the first place, I should have told you that sooner.
no subject
Not human? ... What do you mean?
[ It doesn't sound like she's offended, though. Just very surprised. ]
no subject
start sparklingshow his fangs, but the last thing he wants is to startle Lucia. This date is something Noé's been looking for, so ending it abruptly on such a note would be absolutely terrible. Still, for some reason he clings to the hope that she'll just accept the truth. ]I'm a vampire. I can read memories through someone's blood. B-But I won't do anything to you, I promise.
no subject
[ For a moment, she looks like she's taking this in, trying to process what he's just said. It'd probably be easy for him to interpret this as Lucia realizing he's a vampire and not being a fan of that. Instead, what comes out of her mouth may be something unexpected: ]
But...I fed you stew! Was that something you were able to eat?! Or – does the Goddess have a special diet for you? It didn't hurt your stomach, did it? How am I supposed to prepare something for you later on?
no subject
The Goddess didn't have to do anything, that's just how I am. I can eat normal food and drink blood. [ It's difficult not to chuckle throughout that explanation, but he manages to do it somehow. ] Are these your only concerns?
no subject
[ She's glad that he didn't get a stomach ache from eating normal food. It's good to know that it was still acceptable... ]
Um...I won't say that I'm used to being around people who aren't human, but we do have the gods walk among us sometimes like the Goddess does here, and...I've seen many people use their abilities, so... I don't think you're as cursed as you think you are.
no subject
Well, neither are you, I think. And I definitely wouldn't call you a child either.
[ Yes, he took the cursed child literally. ]
no subject
Heh...thank you. I'm 21, so I haven't been a child in a while, now.
[ She'll roll with it, no worries. ]
What about you?
no subject
[ At least this is a more natural transition than What is your world like? ]
no subject
April 25th. I don't really know how the calendar works here, though.
[ Are months a thing? Seems like only seasons exist... ]
What do you like to do on your birthdays?
no subject
[ She can't convince him otherwise. ]
I usually spend it with a dear friend, assuming she has time...
[ For the most of his birthdays he didn't even have any means to celebrate, so welp. ]
More importantly, what do you like to do on your birthdays!
no subject
[ She had no idea. She didn't realize that was even a thing that anyone would care about, but Noe apparently does. It's very sweet, and he's so excited... ]
Um, well, I...I spent most of my birthdays having a quiet dinner with my parents, and played games for the rest of the night. I guess I don't really have a preference on what I'd like to do.
[ A beat, then: ]
Were you thinking about something?
no subject
[ Let's just cram all spring months into one month called Spring and call it a day is what Noé is saying. ]
Games like Twister? [ He's new to this business... ] We can do that! Or something else. I'll think about it!
