WHAT: Ellis tries hosting a summer party with slip n slide.

[ On a very hot day in Summer 12, every house in Crescentview will receive an invitation to Ellis's place along with a map with directions tailored to each house. Better tell your housemate about it. Ellis has invited everyone to come over to his place. There will be an insanely long slip n slide that feels ridiculously slippery. In fact, it is not powered by water. It's powered by water-based lube. But don't worry, Fluffy the white adult samoyed dog can hose you down to wash it all off if desired. He will also accept pets and attention from those who feel awkward at parties. The dog will also go around once in a while to spray random people with the hose.

Anyway, there's also free food laid out on the table! From Lucia's Cozy Kitchen (and advertised as such), there are fried chicken, fried noodles, and spinach wraps. From Diluc's Dämmerung Bar & Winery, there will be this season's specialty: strawberry wine! There are many other food as well such as dried apple chips, crispy fruit salad, generic snacks... there's also soda and water for the people who don't want to drink wine.

The main attractions in the party seem to be the extremely long slip n slides--multiples of them actually--and there is a specifically longer slip n slide, but it's used as a game. There's a plastic stick at the end that you must get to and bring back without falling even once. Yes, your feet must be on the slip n slide. Beware, this one is even more slippery than the others. There is... an assortment of prizes to win. What are the prizes? Win one and find out.

Other than that, Ellis is also selling bottles of water-based lube. He knows some of y'all need these.

He doesn't really laugh at the next person to fall, calm smile only a shade more amused. Without looking away from the lubed up chaos, he offers this new stranger some of his food. ]

[He spares a few chuckles for the falls, though his gaze is a little more intent than he means it to be, even as his expression stays carefree.]

[At the offer, though, he looks mildly surprised, before reaching over to grab a couple things to pop them in his mouth.]

[ Kaspar's expression is calm as ever, with a glancing smile and a shake of his head. There is plenty of food for everyone, what is a delay in getting more if he misses the loss? ]

[He hums while chewing, before swallowing, contemplative.]

[ Kaspar goes quiet a moment, eating the next piece of food with a glance at the other. He takes his time. ]

[Now that surprises him a little, before he smirks, amused.]

[ Kaspar smiles with a hum. But his expression says the answer needs little contemplation. He looks back to the sliders. ]

If it is fun.

[Now he offers a wink, leaning in cheekily.]

Let's see you give it your best shot, then.

[ He'd meant if the other thinks it is fun, and the wink only confirms it. Which explains the warmth of his expression. What kind of bully looks so fond, shameless about looking directly at him when he leans in. His good posture, though relaxed, still means he can look down at him slightly when Kaspar tilts his head and stands his ground calmly.

It brushes conflict, despite his soft tone and confidence, shifting his weight subtly. ]

You've been, watching so intently. Why hesitate?

[Steinbeck is playful - there's always been a certain ease to how he holds himself, as if life is just a casual breeze on a lazy day. Not to say that is always what he feels, but his attitude is light, even if he deep down may not always have the same sentiment.]

[This time it's genuine, though, and he shrugs his shoulders back, letting out a "hmmm".]

What if I make a fool of myself? I mean, I could do it, but....

[He's hemming and hawing for a reason, obviously part of the tease.]

[ Does this look like the face of someone who would tell everybody Steinbeck is putting away food in his pockets? Though...He Xuan may raise a slight brow to indicate he's noticed.

Yeah, actually, something comes to mind. Not by much, and I didn't like how that fight turned out...but I'm crafty when it comes to things like that. The man thought he could pull a weapon on me and I easily disarmed him. He didn't have even time to blink.

Sounds like a potentially satisfactory ending, if not for what you said about the 'fight' turning out as you had not liked.
