[ Hopefully everyone had fun on the Arco Lunar! The morning after the boat departs from the docks, a letter arrives to your mailbox: ]
Hello, intrepid adventurer!
I am excited to have you along for a group excursion to the mysterious new island! In two days' time, let us gather in the town square and set off from there! Please be prepared to stay the night. It will be so fulfilling and memorable for everyone to spend a night on an adventure together!
If you have any questions or concerns, please come find me at my flower shop in town or at the forest farm where I live!
Sincerely,
Oriphi
[ If she accidentally delivered it to a few wrong mailboxes, then... Oops!
On the promised day, once everyone (and likely a few surprise tag-alongs) has gathered or been gathered, Ori distributes little paper bags of snacks to everyone. Inside are cookies, oat snacks, and a freshly-picked apple from her and M-21's orchard. Do with them as you please... Just don't let her catch you throwing it into the sea or something. 🥺 ]
Alright. I think we should head out, then! Thanks for coming along, everyone! I hope it'll be a great time. Oh, and please don't forget to drink plenty of water and use this incredible ointment I discovered on this island! It's called "sunscreen!" Tieflings don't really get sunburnt, but you should use it!
[ And with that our intrepid adventurers set off to the mysterious, dangerous, unknowable... resort island! ]

i - kidnapping; no cws other than the kidnapping itself
[ A clock on a nearby shelf ticks in the otherwise silent room, a man in a suit sitting idly on the couch while another occasionally peeks out the blinds. Near a desk is Gaku himself, sitting in a chair with his hands bound with rope behind him, and his ankles bound in front of him. There's a large piece of duct tape over his mouth, as he'd be shouting otherwise.
He stares at the clock on the shelf, his eyes narrowed. ]
ii - rejection;
[ In this particular memory, it seems like Gaku is delivering food, idly speaking with a woman with blonde hair. They seem to be relatively close.
And then, Gaku decides to shoot his shot. ]
Do you... like Gaku Yaotome?
iii - concert;
[ It's raining, the sky a dark, gloomy gray as it pours. There's a tent on the side of the street set up right behind a single stage, a big banner of TRIGGER hanging above it. One of the flaps to the tent opens up, someone poking their head out.
It's Gaku.
He doesn't seem to be looking at anything in particular, his eyes looking out at the street before he looks up at the sky. ]
iv - talk show;
[ The atmosphere is tense as TRIGGER sits down, the audience themselves seemingly on the edge of their seats. This feels all like a formality, like one last chance or TRIGGER to be on a talk show like this.
One of the hosts starts things off, speaking conversationally into a mic. ]
I heard you'll be performing a new song at next week's Tokyo International Music Art Festival being held at Zero Arena. That's huge!
[ After one of Gaku's members gives thanks, he nods and holds his microphone up. ]
Since all genres of music are announced at the event, we're focusing our energy on it.
That's quite the manly answer! So, do you get your popularity with the ladies from your dad?
[ Gaku's eyes widen as the question leaves the host's mouth, his fists clenching in his lap.
Silence fills the studio. ]
v - wildcard;
[ If you'd like a custom starter for a memory, let me know here! ]
iii, cyoa!!!
He walks closer to the tent and looks down at Gaku. ]
Waiting for something to happen?
no subject
He puts a finger to his lips, a playful smirk on his face. He's easily recognizable these days, even if he's no longer getting as many jobs as before, so he figures that this guy recognizes him. ]
It's a surprise, but you might wanna stick around to see what we've got in store.

When is the performance? Will the rain let up?
no subject
[ He motions Ellis closer, dropping to a whisper. ]
We'll perform anyway. A little rain won't stop us from our dream.

Let him down easily, please. ]
no subject
Yes, very much!
I think a girl like you might be able to make him fall for her.
[ Gaku looks away, his cheeks flushing, before he looks back at her. She waves her hands, her eyes wide. ]
I could never! Besides, Gaku is everyone's idol. I could absolutely never form a special relationship with the talent.
[ ...Rough. ]
no subject
[ Cover blown. Whoops. ]
Um... T-there's a nicer way to put that, isn't there?
no subject
Oh, I'm sure Gaku would agree with me! He understands that he's everyone's idol!
[ Oof. But it's true...
Gaku laughs sheepishly. ]
Yeah, that's right... I bet he gets it.

This announcer is being rude. Of course, the higherups could have forced this on them, but he's angry.
So, of course, he lifts a camera off the tripod, yanks the cords out, and throws it at the announcer's feet. He's still angry. ]

He’s locked in a nondescript room somewhere in the studio, a security guard staying with him. There’s chatter about his obvious firing and whether or not charges will be pressed. Considering the drama that one of the hosts is now caught up in, charges might be far fetched.
Still, the show goes on and about half an hour later, there’s a discussion being held right outside the door on whether or not Gaku should go in. Seems like he wins the argument when he opens the door and glares at the security guard, who shrugs and leaves the room.
Closing the door behind him, he regards Ellis carefully. ]
I don’t know if I should thank you or yell at you.
no subject
...
"Hearing" has been such a journey for Ellis here, so when there are voices outside, he sits on a chair and sees Gaku coming in. ]
You can do both at the same time.

I appreciate you wanting to defend TRIGGER as a fan, especially when someone references a scandal like that. But you can’t do that at your own expense either. Support us in other ways, like listening to our songs or showing up to concerts. That kind of thing is meaningful too, you know.

Who the f— Gaku Yaotome. He seems dressed differently than usual, but to ask that outright, it's... ballsy, honestly. But Ellis can't help but to stare. What the hell.
Maybe Ellis is an actual food delivery guy. ]
if ellis thought gaku had no game before...
Tsumugi smiles, nodding. ]
Yes, very much!
[ Oh!! Gaku flushes, looking away for a brief moment before looking back to her. ]
I think a girl like you might be able to make him fall for her.
[ Tsumugi crosses her arms, looking as if she's about to give a lecture. ]
I could never! Besides, Gaku is everyone's idol. I could absolutely never form a special relationship with the talent.
[ .....Well then. ]
:pikashook:
Well, she has a point, but least he tried... even if it was ridiculous in Ellis's opinion. ]
What an admirable answer, but sometimes the person doesn't have to do anything to make them fall for them.

What a leader you are, huh? Trapped in this room while your members might be in the same predicament too and you can't do a single thing.
Useless.

Gaku...?
[ She spots him from the corner of her eye, but stops herself before approaching and looks down. Does she look like herself? Or does she have a more normal human appearance for this... ]
no subject
Gaku spots her looking at him, and possibly even hears her saying his name to herself too. He smiles, giving her a wave. ]
no subject
Huh.
But soon enough, she sees Gaku waving at her and she waves back, tilting her head. She'll take that as a cue to walk up to him while she fusses with her jacket to put the hood up. ]

iv - talk show, audience;
There are some modern things that are beyond him. But the fact of the matter is that this nonsense being spat out by this host isn't exactly something he'll be considering as acceptable.
Said host is fortunate he can't reach over and punch him out, hah. What a very elegant way to solve things, right?
What happens next, anyway? ]
no subject
Uh... um...
[ There are several whispers in the audience, a sense of panic rising amongst the crowd.
Then, after a small breath, the other host grins as he speaks up. ]
I don't know about Yaotome, but I take after my grandma! [ The first host looks taken aback by that, practically reeling. ] When I saw an old photo of her, I thought "whoa, it's me"! It's not something I should be saying myself, but she was a beauty!
[ And just like that, the tension in the studio slowly starts to dissipate. Gaku, however, needs just a moment longer to recover. ]
no subject
Unsurprisingly, really. But, someone else seems to know well to save the day. Sort of.
Though actions do well in getting points across than even words at times, what somebody manages to speak to another can manage to be something considered as powerful as an action itself.
This seems to be one of those. But, he waits longer still (having no other choice), to see what else may unfold. ]
